| Abstract: | ศึกษาพฤติกรรมการค้นเรื่องโดยใช้บัตรเรื่อง ในด้านลักษณะของคำที่ใช้ค้น ขั้นตอนการค้น เวลาที่ใช้ ปัญหาและอุปสรรค และพฤติกรรมการค้นเรื่องโดยค้นที่ชั้นหนังสือ ในด้านข้อมูลที่นำมาใช้ค้น ขั้นตอนการค้น เวลาที่ใช้ ปัญหาและอุปสรรคของนักศึกษา สถาบันเทคโนโลยีพระจอมเกล้าเจ้าคุณทหารลาดกระบัง วิธีการวิจัยใช้แบบสัมภาษณ์เก็บรวบรวมข้อมูล จากนักศึกษาที่เป็นกลุ่มตัวอย่างจำนวน 150 คน ผลการวิจัยพบว่า ในการค้นโดยใช้บัตรเรื่อง นักศึกษาส่วนใหญ่ (53.34%) ใช้ศัพท์อิสระมากกว่าศัพท์ควบคุม นักศึกษาส่วนใหญ่ (52.64%) คิดคำค้นที่มีความหมายตรงกับเรื่องที่ต้องการค้น รองลงมาคิดคำค้นที่มีความหมายกว้างกว่าเรื่องที่ต้องการค้น (37.71%) ประเภทของหัวเรื่องที่ใช้ นักศึกษาส่วนใหญ่ (83.11%) ใช้หัวเรื่องใหญ่ นักศึกษาส่วนน้อย (16.89%) ใช้หัวเรื่องย่อย นักศึกษาค้นพบหนังสือที่ต้องการโดยเฉลี่ยคนละ 3.28 เล่ม นักศึกษาจำนวนสูงสุด 50 คน (33.33%) ใช้เวลาค้นต่ำกว่า 5 นาที ส่วนการค้นที่ชั้นหนังสือ พบว่านักศึกษาส่วนใหญ่ (74.65%) ใช้รายการชื่อหนังสือ รองลงมาใช้รายการเลขหมู่หนังสือ (52.05%) ในการเข้าถึงชั้นหนังสือพบว่านักศึกษาส่วนใหญ่ (83.33%) ใช้การอ่านป้ายบอกหมวดหมู่ที่ชั้นหนังสือ รองลงมาใช้วิธีอ่านชื่อเรื่องของหนังสือ (51.33%) นักศึกษาส่วนใหญ่ (81.34%) พบหนังสือที่ต้องการและเลือกหนังสือไว้ใช้โดยเฉลี่ยคนละ 1.57 เล่ม โดยชื่อเรื่องของหนังสือที่เลือกส่วนใหญ่ (70.38%) เป็นชื่อเรื่องของหนังสือที่พบจากการใช้บัตรเรื่อง มีเพียงส่วนน้อย (29.16%) เป็นชื่อเรื่องของหนังสือที่เลือกจากการค้นที่ชั้นหนังสือ นักศึกษาส่วนใหญ่ (66.39%) เลือกหนังสือที่มีชื่อเรื่องตรงกับคำที่ใช้ค้นครั้งแรก นักศึกษาจำนวนสูงสุด 37 คน (24.66%) ใช้เวลาในการค้น 6-10 นาที ปัญหาและอุปสรรคในการค้นของนักศึกษาเป็นปัญหาด้านการจัดชั้นหนังสือ และการจัดเรียงหนังสือบนชั้น (31.13%) รองลงมาเป็นการใช้หัวเรื่อง (26.01%) นักศึกษาส่วนใหญ่ (68.66%) ประสบความสำเร็จในการค้นในระดับปานกลาง |
| Other Abstract: | Aims at studying subject search behavior of King Mongkut's Institude of Technology Lardkrabang students at the card catalog in terms of characteristics of words, steps, time, problems and obstacles and at the shelves in terms of bring to search data, steps, time, problems and obstacles. The research was done by interviewing a sample group of 150 students. It was found that at the card catalog, 53.34% of the students used free terms rather than controlled vocabulary, 52.64% came up with words with the meanings equivalent to the subject matters of their search, and 37.71% found words with broader meanings than the subjects matters of their search. In terms of headings, 83.11% of the students used main headings whereas 16.89% used sub-headings. Each student could find an average of 3.28 books needed. The highest number of fifty students (33.33%) spent less than five minutes in their search. At the shelves, it was found that 74.65% of the students used titles of books, 52.05% used classification numbers. In getting access to book-shelves, 83.33% read classification labels placed at the shelves, 51.33% read the book titles. 81.34% of the students found the books needed and chose them for use at an average of 1.57 books for each person. 70.38% of the titles of the books chosen were found through subject cards, whereas 29.16% were the title of the books searched through book-shelves. 66.39% of the students chose the book titles equivalent to the words used in their first search. The highest number of thirty-seven students (24.66%) spent 6-10 minutes in their search. Problems and obstacles in the students' search for books were related to how the shelves were arranged and low books were placed on the shelves (31.13%), and to the use of subject headings (26.01%). Most of the students (68.66%) were moderately successful in their search. |
