dc.description.abstract	ย่านชุมชนเก่าถนนมีชัย เป็นย่านชุมชนเก่าที่อยู่ในเขตเทศบาลจังหวัดหนองคาย ด้วยลักษณะของพื้นที่ทอดยาวไปตามลำน้ำโขง จึงทำให้เป็นพื้นที่ที่รวมกลุ่มของกิจกรรมการซื้อขายแลกเปลี่ยนสินค้า ศูนย์กลางทางด้านการค้าและการคมนาคมทางน้ำที่สำคัญในอดีต มีการก่อตั้งเป็นกลุ่มอาคารมากมายขนานไปกับริมแม่น้ำ ทั้งยังมีความสำคัญในด้านการปกครองและเป็นจังหวัดที่มีการเชื่อมต่อกับเมืองเวียงจันทน์ สปป. ลาว ซึ่งมีประวัติศาสตร์ความเป็นมาที่สำคัญในอดีต เช่น ศึกสงครามในสมัยกรุงธนบุรี รัตนโกสินทร์ ศึกสงครามปราบกบฏชาวจีนฮ่อ และสงครามเวียดนาม-ฝรั่งเศส จึงทำให้มีผู้คนหลากหลายเชื้อชาติอพยพถิ่นฐานเข้ามาตั้งรกรากบริเวณริมฝั่งแม่น้ำโขง จากสภาพพื้นที่ที่เป็นเอกลักษณ์ทำให้มีประเพณีและวิถีชีวิตที่สัมพันธ์กับลำน้ำ จนส่งผลทำให้เกิดย่านการค้า เศรษฐกิจ ประเพณี วัฒนธรรม วิถีชีวิต และรูปแบบสถาปัตยกรรม ในปัจจุบันพบว่า อาคารโบราณ เรือนแถวไม้ มีจำนวนลดน้อยลง รูปแบบของอาคารรุ่นเก่าทรุดโทรม มีการเกิดรูปแบบอาคารแบบสมัยใหม่เข้ามาแทนที่ พื้นที่ทำกิจกรรมต่างๆ ของชุมชนในบริเวณวัดและศาสนาสถานบางแห่งหายไป เนื่องจากวิถีชีวิตที่เปลี่ยนแปลงให้เข้ากับสังคมในปัจจุบัน การวิจัยนี้เป็นการศึกษาประวัติศาสตร์ และวิเคราะห์เอกลักษณ์ของชุมชนได้เลือกตัวอย่างย่านชุมชนเก่าบริเวณวัดศรีคุณเมือง วัดศรีเมือง และวัดลำดวน จังหวัดหนองคาย เป็นกรณีศึกษาในการวิเคราะห์หาเอกลักษณ์และคุณค่าของชุมชนในพื้นที่ศึกษา โดยศึกษาข้อมูลจากการสัมภาษณ์ผู้มีบทบาทสำคัญของชุมชนในเชิงลึก การสังเกตการณ์ และการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลตามหลักการแนวคิดในเรื่อง ความเป็นถิ่นที่อยู่อาศัย และความเป็นถิ่นปฎิสันภาร เพื่อเข้าใจความหมายของชุมชน ต่อมาเป็นการประเมินคุณค่าที่ได้รับจากการศึกษา และจึงเปรียบเทียบแนวความต้องการของผู้คนในชุมชน แนวความคิดร่วมกับทางหน่วยงานภาครัฐ และแนวความคิดจากหน่วยงานวิชาการ จนได้ผลสรุปของโครงการอนุรักษ์และฟื้นฟูบริเวณชุมชนเก่าทั้ง 3 แห่ง จากโครงการที่ได้จัดทำขึ้น เป็นการอนุรักษ์พื้นที่ศึกษาให้คงไว้ เพื่อดำรงรักษาวิถีชีวิตดั้งเดิมวัฒนธรรมและประเพณีท้องถิ่น จากคุณค่าที่ได้วิเคราะห์เป็นเกณฑ์ในการสร้างหัวข้อการอนุรักษ์ ซึ่งประกอบไปด้วย 1. แนวคิดเพื่อส่งเสริมคุณค่าทางด้านวัฒนธรรมประเพณี 2. แนวคิดเพื่อส่งเสริมคุณค่าทางด้านสังคม 3. แนวคิดเพื่อส่งเสริมคุณค่าทางด้านประวัติศาสตร์ 4. แนวคิดเพื่อส่งเสริมคุณค่าความเป็นเอกลักษณ์ในด้านกายภาพ รวมทั้งการปรับปรุงพื้นที่ศึกษา การจัดภูมิทัศน์สภาพแวดล้อม ดังนั้นแนวคิดทั้ง 4 ส่วน จึงควรให้มีความสัมพันธ์และสอดคล้องกันทั้งหมด เพื่อเป็นการสนับสนุนการรักษาความเป็นเอกลักษณ์ของย่านไว้	en
dc.description.abstractalternative	The area of the old Meechai Road community is located in Nong Khai Municipality. Due to its strategic location along the Mekong River, the old Meechai Road community is an important area for people to assemble and also a center for trade and water transportation. As a result, many people of various nationalities have emigrated and settled down in this community, especially along the riverside. The economic and commercial zones, as well as tradition and culture - including architecture - of people in this community were therefore created in relation to and focusing on the Mekong River. However, the traditional buildings and wooden row houses in this community are currently disappearing. The pattern of old buildings has declined and been replaced by more modern designs. The areas for conducting any community activities at the temples or sacred places have also decreased due to more modern lifestyles. This research was conducted to study and analyze the history, uniqueness and values of the old Meechai Road community including the areas of Sri Khun Muang Temple, Sri Muang Temple and Lamduan Temple to create appropriate guidelines for the conservation of this old community. In-depth interviews of community leaders, observation and analysis of the principles for dwellings and meeting places were used to determine their significance to the community. Moreover, the community values identified in the study was evaluated. The prospective needs among people in community, government agencies and academic departments were compared to determine an appropriate project for conservation and renewal of these three old community areas. In accordance with the goals of the research, the project for conservation of the old Meechai Road community was conducted to preserve its local way of life, culture, and tradition. This conservation project was divided into four parts as follows 1. Activities to preserve cultural and traditional values. 2. Activities to preserve social values. 3. Activities to preserve historical values. 4. Activities to preserve the physical identity of the area such as developing education zones, landscape and environment. Furthermore, all conservation activities are meant to be coordinated in order to preserve the community’s overall identity.	en
