dc.description.abstractการวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาเปรียบเทียบถึงผลกระทบของความสำนึกทางการเมืองต่อหน้าที่และบทบาทที่มีต่อการกระทำหน้าที่และบทบาทของสมาชิกสภาจังหวัดและสมาชิกสภาเทศบาล และความสำนึกทางการเมืองต่อหน้าที่และบทบาทและการกระทำหน้าที่และบทบาทกับตัวแปรต่อไปนี้ คือ ระดับการศึกษา ฐานะได้แก่อาชีพและรายได้ ความใกล้ชิดสื่อมวลชนได้แก่ประเภทข่าวสารที่สนใจติดตาม และความใกล้ชิดประชาชนได้แก่การได้รับเลือกเข้าดำรงตำแหน่งสมาชิกสภาจังหวัดและสมาชิกสภาเทศบาล การดำเนินการศึกษาได้ใช้แบบสอบถามเป็นเครื่องมือในการวิจัย ประชากรที่ศึกษา คือ สมาชิกสภาจังหวัดเชียงใหม่ สมาชิกสภาเทศบาลนครเชียงใหม่ สมาชิกสภาจังหวัดแม่ฮ่องสอน และสมาชิกสภาเทศบาลเมืองแม่ฮ่องสอน ข้อมูลนำเสนอเป็นร้อยละและทดสอบความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างตัวแปร โดยการทดสอบไคสแควร์ การศึกษาวิจัยปรากฏผลดังนี้ 1. ยังไม่มีหลักฐานเพียงพอที่จะยืนยันได้ว่าความสำนึกทางการเมืองต่อหน้าที่และบทบาทและการกระทำหน้าที่และบทบาทของสมาชิกสภาจังหวัดและสมาชิกสภาเทศบาลแตกต่างกัน อันเนื่องมาจากความแตกต่างในปัจจัยต่างๆ ดังนี้ คือ ก. ระดับการศึกษา ข. ฐานะ (อาชีพและรายได้) ค. ความใกล้ชิดสื่อมวลชน ง. ความใกล้ชิดประชาชน 2. ความสำนึกทางการเมืองต่อหน้าที่และบทบาทไม่เป็นปัจจัยที่ทำให้การกระทำหน้าที่และบทบาทของสมาชิกสภาจังหวัดและสมาชิกสภาเทศบาลแตกต่างกัน-
dc.description.abstractalternativeThe thesis is a comparative study. The purpose of the study is to explore the impact of political consciousness on functions and roles of the members of provincial councils and municipality councils in Thailand by using four variables: education, status (occupation and income), mass media and legislative tenure which explain differences in political consciousness on functions and roles as to how they ought to behave and actually act as representatives of their respective councils. The method of study is based mainly upon empirical study by using questionnaires. The population involved in this study consists of 28 members of the provincial council and 20 members of the municipal council of Changwat Chiang Mai, and 16 members of the provincial council and 16 members of the municipal council of Changwat Mae Hong Son. Regarding research methodology, data analysis has been presented in the number of percent and Chi Square. The findings of this study are as follows: 1. The analysis offers little evidence to support the linkage among four variables: education, status (occupation and income), mass media, and legislative tenure; and political consciousness on functions and roles of the members of provincial councils and municipal councils as to how they ought to behave and actually act as representatives of their respective councils. 2. The finding indicates that the political consciousness of the members of provincial councils and municipal councils of the two provinces concerning their functions and roles are totally unrelated to the way they actually act as representatives of their respective councils.-
