dc.description.abstractฤทธิ์ของสารแอนโดรกราโฟไลด์และสารสกัดด้วยน้ำของสมุนไพรฟ้าทะลายโจรต่อพิษเฉียบพลันของเอธานอลในตับของหนูขาว โดยใช้เอธานอลขนาด 4 g/kg ทางปาก 1 ครั้ง และมี SGPT, SGOT และผลการทดสอบทาง histopathology เป็นพารามิเตอรในการบ่งชี้ฤทธิ์ในการป้องกันตับของสารดังกล่าว พบว่า การให้สารแอนโดรกราโฟไลด์ ขนาด 100-200 mg/kg ทางช่องท้อง และสารสกัดด้วยน้ำของสมุนไพรฟ้าทะลายโจร ขนาด 800-1000 mg/kg ทางปาก จำนวน 1 ครั้ง ก่อนการให้เอธานอล 48 ชั่วโมง และ 4 ชั่วโมง ตามลำดับ สามารถป้องกันพิษของเอธานอลต่อตับในหนูขาวได้ โดยเห็นได้จากการเพิ่มขึ้นเล็กน้อยหรือไม่เปลี่ยนแปลงของระดับ SGPT และ SGOT ซึ่งสอดคล้องกับผลการทดสอบทาง histopathology ที่พบว่าเซลล์ตับถูกทำลายน้อยมากหรือเป็นปกติ และผลดังกล่าวขึ้นอยู่กับขนาดของสารทั้งสองชนิด เมื่อให้สารแอนโดรกราโฟไลด์ ขนาด 100 mg/kg ทางช่องท้อง และสารสกัดด้วยน้ำของสมุนไพรฟ้าทะลายโจร ขนาด 500 mg/kg ทางปากวันละ 1 ครั้ง เป็นเวลา 7 วัน ก่อนให้เอธานอล พบว่าสามารถป้องกันพิษจากเอธานอลได้เช่นเดียวกัน สารแอนโดรกราโฟไลด์และสารสกัดด้วยน้ำของสมุนไพรฟ้าทะลายโจร ในขนาดที่มีฤทธิ์ป้องกันพิษ ของเอธานอลต่อตับได้ ไม่มีผลต่อสมรรถภาพของเอนไซม์ ADH ข้อมูลที่ได้จากการศึกษาทั้งหมด แสดงว่าสารแอนโดรกราโฟไลด์และสารสกัดด้วยน้ำของสมุนไพรฟ้าทะลายโจร ในขนาดที่ใช้ในงานวิจัยนี้ มีฤทธิ์ป้องกันตับจากพิษของเอธานอลได้โดยไม่มีผลต่อสมรรถภาพ ของเอนไซม์ ADH ในกระบวนการเมตาบอลิสมของเอธานอล-
dc.description.abstractalternativeEffects of andrographolide and Andrographis paniculata ๐n acute ethanol hepatotoxicity was studied using the single dose of ethanol(4 g/kg po). Hepatoprotective activity was monitored by estimating the serum transaminases (GOT and GPT) and histopathological changes in the livers of experimental rats. Pre-treatments of rats with 100-200 mg/kg of andrographolide, ip and 800-1,000 mg/kg water extract of Andrographis paniculata, po, 48 hours and 4 hours before ethanol administration, respectively, produced no change or little changes in the activities of SGOT and SGPT which correlated with normal histopathological examination. This effect was dose dependent. Long term administration (for 7 consecutive days) of andrographolide 100 mg/kg,ip and water extract of Andrographis paniculata 500 gm/kg, po also produced the same effects. Andrographolide and water extract of Andrographis paniculata at the hepatoprotective doses, produced no significant change in the activities of alcohol dehydrogenase.All data showed that andrographolide and water extract of Andrographis paniculata at the doses employed in this investigation may have hepatoprotective effect without the effect on the activities of alcohol dehydrogenase.-
