| Abstract: | การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาสถานภาพทางการศึกษาของโรงเรียนมัธยมศึกษาในเขตจังหวัดภาคเหนือตอนบน 3 จังหวัดคือ เชียงใหม่ เชียงราย และลำปาง ประจำปีการศึกษา 2531 จำนวน 90 โรงเรียน เก็บข้อมูลโดยวิธีการสำรวจโรงเรียน วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยการคำนวณดัชนีบ่งชี้สถานภาพทางการศึกษาของแต่ละโรงเรียน และเปรียบเทียบตัวแปรบางตัวกับเกณฑ์มาตรฐานของกรมสามัญศึกษาเปรียบเทียบกับตัวแปรบางตัวระหว่างโรงเรียน พร้อมทั้งศึกษาตัวแปรทางด้านคุณวุฒิของครู วิชาเอก-โทของครู อุปกรณ์การสอนชุมนุมหรือชมรมนักเรียน วิชาเลือกทางด้านอาชีพ และการจัดกิจกรรมต่าง ๆ ของโรงเรียนได้แยกการวิเคราะห์ออกเป็น 2 กลุ่มคือโรงเรียนมัธยมศึกษาที่เปิดสอนระดับชั้น ม.1-ม.3 และกลุ่มที่เปิดสอนในระดับชั้น ม.1-ม.6 ข้อค้นพบที่สำคัญของการวิจัยคือ 1. โรงเรียนมัธยมศึกษาระดับ ม.1-ม.3 จำนวน 47 โรงเรียน พบว่า โรงเรียนที่มีค่าดัชนีบ่งชี้สถานภาพทางการศึกษาสูงกว่า 100 มี 15 โรงเรียน อยู่ในจังหวัดเชียงใหม่ 4 โรงเรียน จังหวัดเชียงราย 2 โรงเรียน และจังหวัดลำปาง 9 โรงเรียน และต่ำกว่า 100 มี 32 โรงเรียน อยู่ในจังหวัดเชียงใหม่ 12 โรงเรียนจังหวัดเชียงราย 14 โรงเรียน และจังหวัดลำปาง 6 โรงเรียน โรงเรียนที่มีนักเรียนน้อยส่วนมากจะมีดัชนีบ่งชี้สถานภาพทางการศึกษาสูงกว่าโรงเรียนที่มีจำนวนนักเรียนมาก โรงเรียนส่วนใหญ่ยังมีห้องที่มีขนาดต่ำกว่าเกณฑ์ และยังไม่เป็นสัดส่วน เช่น ห้องแนะแนว โรงอาหาร ห้องพลศึกษา และห้องโสตทัศนูปกรณ์ มีอยู่ 10 โรงเรียนที่ยังไม่มีโรงฝึกงาน โรงเรียนส่วนใหญ่ก็ขนาดบริเวณโรงเรียนสูงกว่าเกณฑ์มาตรฐาน ยกเว้นโรงเรียนหอพระ โดยเฉลี่ยมีอัตราส่วนครูต่อ นักเรียนเป็น 1:15 ครูส่วนใหญ่จบการศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรีโรงเรียนส่วนใหญ่ยังขาดครูทางด้านวิชาชีพ และโรงเรียนส่วนใหญ่มีวิชาเลือกทางด้านอาชีพเกษตร มีชุมนุมหรือชมรมทางด้านลูกเสือ-เนตรนารีและเกษตรกรรมศิลป์ และมีกิจกรรมทางด้านกีฬา 2. โรงเรียนมัธยมศึกษาระดับ ม.1-ม.6 จำนวน 43 โรงเรียน พบว่า โรงเรียนที่มีค่าดัชนีบ่งชี้สถานภาพทางการศึกษาสูงกว่า 100 มี 7 โรงเรียน อยู่ในจังหวัดเชียงใหม่ 3 โรงเรียน จังหวัดเชียงราย 1 โรงเรียน และจังหวัดลำปาง 3 โรงเรียน และต่ำกว่า 100 มี 36 โรงเรียน อยู่ในจังหวัดเชียงใหม่ 13 โรงเรียน จังหวัดเชียงราย 16 โรงเรียน และจังหวัดลำปาง 8 โรงเรียน โรงเรียนที่มีจำนวนนักเรียนน้อยจะมีดัชนีบ่งชี้สถานภาพทางการศึกษาสูงกว่าโรงเรียนที่มีจำนวนนักเรียนมาก โรงเรียนส่วนใหญ่มีห้องเฉพาะที่เป็นสัดส่วนแต่มีขนาดต่ำกว่าเกณฑ์มาตรฐาน เช่น ห้องแนะแนว โรงฝึกงานและโรงอาหาร โรงเรียนส่วนใหญ่มีขนาดบริเวณโรงเรียนสูงกว่าเกณฑ์มาตรฐาน ยกเว้น โรงเรียนยุพราชวิทยาลัย วัฒโนทันพายัพ ดำรงราษฎร์สงเคราะห์ และลำปางกัลยานี โดยเฉลี่ยมีจำนวนครูต่อนักเรียนเป็น 1:15 ครูส่วนใหญ่จบการศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรีและโรงเรียนส่วนใหญ่ยังขาดครูทางด้านวิชาชีพ และโรงเรียนส่วนใหญ่มีวิชาเลือกทางด้านอาชีพเกษตรกรรม มีชุมชนหรือชมรมทางด้านลูกเสือ-เนตรนารี และวิชาสามัญและมี กิจกรรมทางด้านการแข่งขันกีฬา |
| Other Abstract: | The purpose of this research was to study the educational status of secondary schools in the three provinces of the upper Northern region (Chiangmai, Chiangrai and Lampang) in the academic year 1988. A school survey method was employed to collect data concerning secondary schools status from a total of 90 schools. The obtained data were analyzed by computing the educational status index and comparing some variables with the standard of Ministry of Education, comparing some crucial variables among schools and describing teacher’s qualification and their major-minor subjects, students’ clubs, elective vocational subject, school activities and school teaching aids. The data were analyzed separately into two groups of schools : the group of M.1-M.3 schools and the group of M.1-M.6 schools: The major findings were as follow: 1. The group of 47 M.1-M.3 schools showed : there were four schools in Chiangmai, two schools in Chiangrai and nine schools in Lampang which had the educational status index over 100. There were twelve schools in Chiangmai, fourteen schools in Chiangrai and nine schools in Lampang which had the educational status index below 100. Most schools which had less students had the educational status index higher than schools which had more students. Most schools had no specific room such as counseling room, cafeteria, gymnasium and audio visual room. There were 10 schools that had no workshop. Most schools had more area than the standards except Hawpra School. There was an average of one teacher to 15 students. Most teachers hold a Bachelor’s Degree. Most schools were short of vocational teacher. There were boy scounts-girl scounts and agricultural arts clubs, elective vocational subject about agricultural, and sports activities. 2. The group of 43 M.1-M.6 schools showed : there were three schools in Chiangmoi, one school in Chiangrai and three schools in Lampang which had the educational status index over 100. There were thirteen schools in Chiangmai, fifteen schools in Chiangrai and eight schools in Lampang which had the educational status index below 100. Most schools which had less students had the educational status index higher than schools which had more students. Most schools had specific rooms but its were less than the standard such as counseling room, workshop and cafeteria. Most schools had more area than the standards except Yuparatvitayali School, Watanotaipayub School, Dumrongratsongkhraw School and Lampangkanyanee School. There was an average one of teacher to 15 students. Most teachers hold a Bachelor’s Degree. Most schools were short of vocational teacher. There were boy scounts-girl scounts and academic subjects, elective vocation subject about agricultural arts, and sports activities. |
