dc.description.abstractการวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาปัจจัยต่าง ๆ ที่มีผลกระทบและปัจจัยที่มีผลกระทบที่สำคัญต่อการทำหมันในปี พ.ศ. 2521 และ พ.ศ. 2527 และเปรียบเทียบปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อการทำหมันระหว่างปี พ.ศ. 2521 และ พ.ศ.2527 โดยใช้ข้อมูลจากโครงการสำรวจสภาวะการคุมกำเนิดแห่งประเทศไทย รอบที่ 1 (CPS1) และรอบที่ 3 (CPS3) แบ่งการวิเคราะห์ออกเป็น 2 ตอน คือตอนแรก วิเคราะห์ในรูปตารางโดยการเสนอร้อยละของการทำหมันจำแนกตามตัวแปรอิสระตัวเดียวและตัวแปรคุม 2 ตัว ตอนที่สองวิเคราะห์ตัวแปรอิสระอย่างน้อย 2 ตัว ผลการวิจัยพบว่า ความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างตัวแปรตามคือการทำหมันกับตัวแปรอิสระตัวเดียว จาก CPS1 ตัวแปรอิสระ 5 ใน 7 ตัวมีผลต่อการทำหมันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญ ความรู้เรื่องการทำหมันหญิงเป็นปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อการทำหมันมากที่สุด ระดับการศึกษาของสตรีและอายุเมื่อแรกสมรสมีผลต่อการหมันน้อยที่สุดจาก CPS3 ตัวแปรอิสระ 7 ใน 8 ตัวมีผลต่อการทำหมันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญ อายุและความรู้เรื่องการทำหมันหญิง เป็นปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อการหมันมากที่สุด อายุเมื่อแรกสมรสมีผลต่อการหมันน้อยที่สุด ความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างตัวแปรตามคือการทำหมันกับตัวแปรอิสระทุกตัว พบว่า จาก CPS1 ตัวแปรอิสระทั้ง 7 ตัวมีผลต่อการทำหมันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญ อายุเป็นปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อการทำหมันมากที่สุด รองลงมาคืออายุเมื่อแรกสมรส ระดับการศึกษาของสตรีเป็นปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อการทำหมันน้อยที่สุด จาก CPS3 ตัวแปรอิสระทั้ง 8 ตัวมีผลต่อการทำหมันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญ ความรู้เรื่องการทำหมันหญิงเป็นปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อการทำหมันมากที่สุด รองลงมาคืออายุ อาชีพของสตรีเป็นปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อการทำหมันน้อยที่สุด จากการวิเคราะห์ทั้งสองตอน สรุปว่า ความรู้เรื่องการทำหมันหญิงและอายุเป็นปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อการทำหมันมากที่สุด
dc.description.abstractalternativeThe purposes of this study are to investigate the effects of selected factors on sterilization and to examine the trend of these effects between 1978 (CPS1) and 1984 (CPS3). Result from the tabular analysis were : from CPS1, Five of seven independent variables were significantly related to sterilization. Women’s knowledge in tubal was the most influential factor while women’s age at first marriage was the least influential factor affecting sterilization. From CPS3, Seven of eight independent variables were significantly related to sterilization. Women’s age was the most influential factor while women’s age at first marriage was the least influential factor affecting sterilization. Result from the Multivariate Analysis were : from CPS1, All seven independent variables were significantly related to sterilization. Women’s age was the most influential factor while women’s education was the least important factor in determining sterilization. From CPS3, All eight independent variables were significantly related to sterilization. Women’s knowledge in tubal ligation was the most influential factor while women’s occupation was the least important factor in determining sterilization. In conclusion, Results from both types of analysis evidently confirm the importance of women’s knowledge in tubal ligation and their age in determining sterilization.
