dc.description.abstract	การวิจัยครั้งนี้ได้ศึกษาบริเวณพื้นที่วัดในปัจจุบันว่ามีสภาพแวดล้อมทางกายภาพที่เหมาะสมสำหรับผู้สูงอายุหรือไม่ อย่างไร เพื่อนำไปสู่การเสนอแนะแนวทางการออกแบบและปรับปรุงสภาพแวดล้อมทางกายภาพและสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกในพื้นที่วัดให้มีความเหมาะสมปลอดภัยสอดคล้องกับธรรมชาติร่างกายและช่วยส่งเสริมความสามารถในการใช้ชีวิตของผู้สูงอายุ ผู้วิจัยได้คัดเลือกวัดพระพุทธศาสนาในเขตกรุงเทพมหานครที่มีศักยภาพในการศึกษาวิจัยตามเกณฑ์ที่ตั้งไว้คือ เป็นวัดราษฎร์ที่มีการปฏิบัติธรรมทั้งแบบไปเช้าเย็นกลับและแบบค้างคืน ซึ่งสามารถคัดเลือกได้จำนวน 4 วัด ได้แก่ วัดม่วง วัดเวฬุวนาราม วัดพรหมวงศาราม และวัดสุวรรณประสิทธิ์ โดยการทำวิจัยครั้งนี้ผู้วิจัยได้ศึกษาข้อมูลจากเอกสารต่างๆ และสำรวจภาคสนามด้วยการสังเกตและสำรวจลักษณะทางกายภาพของพื้นที่วัด รวมถึงสัมภาษณ์กลุ่มประชากรที่เกี่ยวข้องคือผู้บริหารวัดและผู้สูงอายุที่มาใช้พื้นที่วัด ผลการศึกษาพบว่าแต่ละวัดมีลักษณะสภาพแวดล้อมทางกายภาพและสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกที่ยังไม่เอื้อต่อการใช้งานของผู้สูงอายุเท่าที่ควรคือไม่ได้จัดเตรียมสภาพแวดล้อมทางกายภาพและสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกที่เหมาะสมไว้ให้บริการแก่ผู้สูงอายุโดยเฉพาะ อาทิ ที่จอดรถสำหรับผู้สูงอายุซึ่งทุกวัดไม่มี ส่วนห้องน้ำสำหรับผู้สูงอายุมีเพียงวัดเดียวที่จัดเตรียมไว้แล้วแต่อยู่ในตำแหน่งที่ผู้สูงอายุไม่ได้ใช้งาน รวมถึงมีลักษณะไม่ตรงตามเกณฑ์ที่เหมาะสม และจากการสัมภาษณ์ผู้บริหารวัดทั้ง 4 วัด พบว่า ทุกวัดไม่มีนโยบายและแผนงานด้านการพัฒนาพื้นที่วัดในแง่การให้บริการแก่ผู้สูงอายุโดยเฉพาะ และจากการสัมภาษณ์ผู้สูงอายุที่มาใช้พื้นที่วัดทั้ง 4 วัด พบว่า สิ่งที่ผู้สูงอายุต้องการให้ปรับปรุงหรือออกแบบให้ดีขึ้นมากที่สุดคือบริเวณห้องน้ำสำหรับผู้สูงอายุ ทั้งขนาดของห้องน้ำ อุปกรณ์ในห้องน้ำ หรือการใช้วัสดุพื้นผิวที่ลื่นอันเป็นจุดที่เสี่ยงต่อการเกิดอุบัติเหตุ บทสรุปได้เสนอแนะแนวทางการออกแบบและปรับปรุงสภาพแวดล้อมทางกายภาพและสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกสำหรับผู้สูงอายุในพื้นที่วัดในเรื่องของทางสัญจรและที่จอดรถ อาคารและสิ่งก่อสร้าง งานระบบ พืชพรรณ เฟอร์นิเจอร์ภายนอกอาคาร และรายละเอียดภายในพื้นที่กิจกรรม	en_US
dc.description.abstractalternative	This research involved a study of temple areas at present to determine whether and in what ways the temple’s physical environment is suitable for the elderly. In addition, it aimed to make recommendations regarding design and improvement of the physical environment and facilities in temple areas so that they are safe and suitable for the elderly based on their physical condition and way of living. The researcher selected Buddhist temples in Bangkok which based on the following criteria: private temple, offer meditation course, day course and stay overnight course. Four temples appropriate for the study: Wat Muang, Wat Weluwanaram, Wat Phrommawongsaram, and Wat Suwan Prasit. Research methodology included documentary study, field study through observation and survey of the physical characteristics of the temple areas, as well as interviews of the population concerned, namely the temple administrators and elderly visitors to the temples. According to the research results, none of the four temples have a physical environment or facilities favorable to use by the elderly. In other words, a suitable physical environment and facilities to serve the elderly in particular have not been prepared or provided. For example, none of the temples have designated parking spaces for the elderly. Only one temple has restrooms suitable for the elderly but they are located in difficult-to-access areas. The restrooms were also not up to standard. Interviews of the temple administrators of all four temples revealed that none have policies or plans to develop temple areas to better serve the elderly. Meanwhile, interviews of elderly people visiting the temples and using the areas revealed that what they want most to see improved or redesigned is the restroom area, including the restroom size, equipment and fixtures, and the removal of slippery flooring which poses a risk of accidents. In conclusion, this study recommends specific guidelines to be adopted for the design and improvement of the physical environment and facilities for the elderly in temple areas regarding traffic paths, parking, building and utilities systems, plants, outdoor furniture, and activity areas.	en_US
