dc.description.abstractการวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาเปรียบเทียบว่า แบบสอบเลือกตอบเดียวกันที่ลดจำนวนตัวเลือกของข้อกระทงลงจาก 5 ตัวเลือกเป็น 4 ตัวเลือกและ 3 ตัวเลือก เมื่อปรับให้แบบสอบทั้งสามชุดมีขนาดเท่ากันตามข้อตกลงเบื้องต้นของความเป็นสัดส่วนอย่างง่ายของกริเออร์ พร้อมทั้งแก้ไขความคลาดเคลื่อนเกิดจาการเดา ด้วยการตรวจให้คะแนนตามวิธีการสรรหาเซทย่อยของคำตอบแล้วค่าความเที่ยง อำนาจจำแนก และระดับความยากของแบบสอบจะแตกต่างกันหรือไม่ ผลการวิจัยพบว่า 1. เมื่อลดจำนวนตัวเลือกของข้อกระทงลงจาก 5 ตัวเลือกเป็น 4 ตัวเลือก ค่าความเที่ยงของแบบสอบเพิ่มขึ้นจาก .854 เป็น .880 แต่เมื่อลดจำนวนตัวเลือกของข้อกระทงลงเป็น 3 ตัวเลือก ความเที่ยงของแบบสอบกลับลดลงกว่าแบบสอบชุด 4 ตัวเลือกคือเป็น -871 2. การลดจำนวนตัวเลือกของข้อกระทงลงจาก 5 ตัวเลือกเป็น 4 ตัวเลือก และ3 ตัวเลือก ไม่ทำให้ค่าอำนาจจำแนกของแบบสอบทั้งสามชุดแตกต่างกันที่ระดับนัยสำคัญ .05 3. การลดจำนวนตัวเลือกของข้อกระทงลงจาก 5 ตัวเลือกเป็น 4 ตัวเลือกและ 3 ตัวเลือกไม่ทำให้ระดับความยากของแบบสอบทั้งสามชุดแตกต่างกันที่ระดับนัยสำคัญ .05en_US
dc.description.abstractalternativeThe purpose of this research was to find out whether the reliability, the discrimination power and the difficulty level of a multiple-choice test would be different if there was a reduction in the number of choices per item from 5 choices to 4 choices, then to 3 choices. When the three multiple-choice tests were adjusted in equal size along with Grier’s simple proportional assumption and at the same time reduced the guessing error by using the method of Subset Selection Technique of scoring. The research finding were as follow: 1. When the number of choices were reduced from 5 choices to 4 choices the reliability of test increase from -.854 to .880 but when the number of choices were reduced to 3 choices the reliability of test decreased to .871 2. In reducing the number of choices from 5 choices to 4 choices then t 3 choices, the discrimination powers among the three types of tests were not significantly different at the .05 level. 3. In reducing the number of choices from 5 choices to 4 choices then to 3 choices, the difficulty levels among the three types of tests were not significantly different at the .05 level.en_US
