Abstract:	ฉิ่ง เป็นเครื่องดนตรีที่มีความสำคัญมากชิ้นหนึ่งในวงดนตรีไทย มีหน้าที่ในการกำกับจังหวะแสดงให้เห็นถึงจังหวะหนักและจังหวะเบาของเพลง มีอำนาจในเชิงปริมาณและเชิงคุณภาพ แต่เนื่องจากยังขาดการศึกษาเรื่องราวของฉิ่งในแนวลึก ส่งผลให้ผู้วิจัยสนใจจะศึกษาเพื่อให้เกิดความเข้าใจที่แท้จริงในเรื่องนี้ มีประเด็นสำคัญ คือ บริบทที่เกี่ยวข้องกับฉิ่งในดนตรีไทย และรูปแบบจังหวะฉิ่งที่ปรากฏ ผู้วิจัยทำการเก็บข้อมูลด้วยการค้นคว้าจากเอกสารทางวิชาการสัมภาษณ์ผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิ และใช้ศูนย์ข้อมูลดนตรีไทย จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย เป็นฐานข้อมูลหลักในการอ้างอิง เพื่อค้นคว้าหารูปแบบจังหวะฉิ่งจากเพลงทั้งสิ้น 690 เพลง จากนั้นนำมาเรียบเรยงให้เห็นรูปแบบของจังหวะฉิ่ง ผลการวิจัยพบว่าฉิ่งมีบทบาทและหน้าที่ที่สำคัญมาก ปรากฏรูปแบบแบ่งออกได้เป็น 2 ประเภท คือ จังหวะฉิ่งแบบปกติและจังหวะฉิ่งแบบพิเศษ จำนวน 18 แบบ ได้แก่ 1. จังหวะฉิ่งแบบอัตราสามชั้น 2. จังหวะฉิ่งแบบอัตราสองชั้น 3. จังหวะฉิ่งแบบอัตราชั้นเดียว 4. จังหวะฉิ่งแบบเถา 5. จังหวะฉิ่งแบบฉิ่งฉิ่งฉับ แบบที่ 1 6. จังหวะฉิ่งแบบฉิ่งฉิ่งฉับ แบบที่ 2 7. จังหวะฉิ่งแบบฝรั่ง 8. จังหวะฉิ่งอย่างเดียว แบบที่ 1 9. จังหวะฉิ่งอย่างเดียว แบบที่ 2 10. จังหวะฉิ่งอย่างเดียว แบบที่ 3 11. จังหวะฉิ่งอย่างเดียว แบบที่ 4 12. จังหวะฉับอย่างเดียว 13. จังหวะฉิ่งลอย 14. จังหวะฉิ่งแบบเพลงโอ้ 15. จังหวะฉิ่งแบบชาตรี 16. จังหวะฉิ่งแบบเพลงเย้ย 17. จังหวะฉิ่งแบบเพลงเอกบท 18. จังหวะฉิ่งแบบเพลงช้าปี่
Other Abstract:	Ching, one among the most important Thai music instruments, is a rhythmic instrument indicating the light and heavy rhythm with a quantitative and qualitative function. Since the deep studies is Chaing is still in lack, the research is conducted for the better understanding. The point of issues are to set up contexual studies study of Chiang in Thai Traditional Music and analytic studies of its rhythmic forms. The data are gathered by documentary reviewing, interviewing and searching the Thai Music database at Chulalongkorn University's Music Library with the framwork of 690 songs. The researcher has set up 19 rhythmic forms devided into 2 category; regular form and special form which are 1. The Ching-3-Chan Rhythmic pattern 2. The Ching-2-Chan Rhythmic pattern 3. The Ching-Chan-Diew Rhythmic pattern 4. The Thao Ching Rhythmic pattern 5. The Chiang-Ching-Chub Rhythm pattern 1 6. The Ching-Ching-Chub Rhythm pattern 2 7. The Farang Ching Rhythmic pattern 8. The Pure Ching Rhythm pattern 1 9. The Pure Ching Rhythm pattern 2 10. The Pure Ching Rhythm pattern 3 11. The Pure Ching Rhythm pattern 4 12. The Pure Chub Rhythm 13. The Loi Ching Rhythm pattern 14. The Ching-Oo Rhythmic pattern 15. The Ching-Chatree Rhythmic pattern 16. The Ching-Yei Rhythmic pattern 17. The Ching-Aekabot Rhythmic pattern 18. The Ching-Chapee Rhythmic pattern.
