| dc.description.abstract | จุดมุ่งหมายหลักของวิทยานิพนธ์ฉบับนี้ คือ การศึกษาระบบวรรณยุกต์และสัทลักษณะของวรรณยุกต์ในภาษาไทยถิ่นที่พูดในบริเวณต่าง ๆ ของจังหวัดราชบุรี เพื่อแบ่งภาษาไทยถิ่นราชบุรีเป็นภาษาถิ่นย่อย การศึกษาครั้งนี้ศึกษาเสียงวรรณยุกต์ทั้งในระดับคำ และในระดับข้อความผู้วิจัยทำการวิเคราะห์ระบบวรรณยุกต์ของผู้บอกภาษาในจุดเก็บข้อมูลแต่ละจุด แล้วนำผลการวิเคราะห์ของทุกจุดมาเปรีบยเทียบกัน ข้อมูลที่ใช้ในการศึกษาได้จากการสัมภษณ์ผู้บอกภาษาที่คัดเลือกจากจุดเก็บข้อมูล 14 จุด รวมทั้งสิ้น 39 คน ผลของการวิจัยพบว่าในระดับคำ ระบบวรรณยุกต์ในภาษาที่พูดที่จุดเก็บข้อมูลต่าง ๆ เหมือนกัน ส่วนสัทลักษณะของวรรณยุกต์คล้ายคลึงกัน การแปรของเสียงวรรณยุกต์ไม่สามารถนำมาแบ่งภาไทยถิ่นราชบุรีออกเป็นภาษาย่อยได้ แต่การวิเคราะห์วรรรยุกต์ในระดับข้อความแสดงให้เห็นว่าภาษาไทยถิ่นราชบุรีอาจแบ่งเป็นภาษาย่อยได้ โดยใช้สัทลักษณะของหน่วยเสียงวรรณยุกต์ที่ 3 และหน่วยเสียงวรรณยุกต์ที่ 5 ในระดับข้อความเป็นเกณฑ์สำคัญ | - |
| dc.description.abstractalternative | The main purpose of this thesis is to investigate the tonal system and the phonetic characteristics of tones of the Thai Language spoken in different localities in Ratchaburi. The study deals with tones both in citation form and in connected speech. The tone system of each locality was analysed and the results were compared. The data for this study war collected from 39 informants from 14 localities. The result of the study shows that Ratchaburi Thai cannot be divided into sub- dialects as far as tones in citation form are concerned since the tone systems and the phonetic characteristics of tones in various localities are similar. However, when the phonetic characteristics of tone in connected speech especially those of tone 3 and tone 5 were considered, it was found that it is possible to divide Ratchaburi Thai into sub-dialects. | - |
