dc.description.abstractalternativeงานสำคัญหนึ่งของ Unesco Regional Office for Education in Asia and Oceania คืองานบริการสนเทศเพื่อการศึกษา อันประกอบด้วยการจัดหาและการเผยแพร่สารสนเทศการจัดหาและรวบรวมข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับการศึกษาในภูมิภาคนี้นั้นเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของงานห้องสมุด ซึ่งจะมีการจัดพิมพ์รายชื่อเอกสารและสิ่งพิมพ์พร้อมเนื้อหาสาระออกเผยแพร่เป็นประจำ ทั้งมีรายละเอียดทางบรรณานุกรมไว้ให้บริการตอบคำถามอีกด้วย ส่วนการเผยแพร่สารสนเทศแก่บรรดาประเทศสมาชิก มีการจัดพิมพ์เผยแพร่ผลงานการศึกษาวิจัยต่างๆ ข้อมูลด้านสถิติ การศึกษา การวางแผนและการจัดการศึกษา ข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับวัสดุอุปกรณ์การศึกษา รวมทั้งได้รวบรวมรายชื่อเอกสารและสิ่งพิมพ์ด้านการศึกษาของบรรดาประเทศสมาชิกไว้เพื่อการค้นคว้าอ้างอิงอีกด้วย นอกจากนี้ยังมีงานบริการสนเทศภายใต้โครงการ Asian Programme of Educational Innovation for Development ซึ่งให้บริการข้อมูลด้านการฝึกอบรมเจ้าหน้าที่และการแลกเปลี่ยนประสบการณ์ด้านวิทยาการสมัยใหม่ มีการจัดพิมพ์รายละเอียดของแหล่งข้อมูลด้านวิทยาการใหม่ๆ ทางการศึกษาเผยแพร่แก่สมาชิกและมีหน่วยงานย่อยที่รับผิดชอบให้บริการสนเทศด้านอุปกรณ์สื่อการสอนต่างๆ โดยมีตัวอย่างพร้อมคู่มือในการจัดทำประกอบด้วยen
