Other Abstract:	The author discusses the documentation standard in Thailand from her own experience as being a Chairman of the Sub-committee for the Consideration of Standard Documents and Drafts of the 46th ISO Technical Committee. The study begins with a brief description of information background on standardization, including its definition and scope, and then focuses on the international standardization and Thailand. The term “documentation standard” is discussed with special attention to the functional task and initiative task of the ISO/TC 46. The article is concluded with the consideration on vocabularies on documentation.
