dc.description.abstractalternativeThis article focuses on King Rama VI’s enthusiasm in photography and movies. An evidence about His Majesty’s photographic works was shown in a book of the photo contest at Wat Benchamabophit Fair held during 8-12 January 1922. This book contained lists of committee and names of the photos and their owners of whish nine from 169 photo contested were belong to His Majesty the King. The other evidences on His Majesty’s photographic works were found in the books distributed in the funeral ceremony. As regards the movies, the only evidence appeared in the memorandum of a court officer mentioned that His Majesty the King used to see the films but no evidence on His Majesty’s activity on film-making were found.en
