dc.description.abstract	การศึกษานี้เป็นการศึกษาเชิงพรรณนา มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาความคิดเห็นของอาสาสมัครสาธารณสุขประจำหมู่บ้าน (อสม.) ต่องานสุขภาพจิตชุมชนในด้านการให้ความสำคัญ ปริมาณงานที่ปฏิบัติจริง และความต้องการความรู้และทักษะเพิ่มเติมในกิจกรรมดำเนินงานสุขภาพจิตชุมชน ตัวอย่างที่ศึกษาคือ อสม.ในจังหวัดนนทบุรี สระบุรี กาญจนบุรี และนครราชสีมา จำนวน 2,000 คน เก็บข้อมูลระหว่างเดือนพฤศจิกายน 2545 กุมภาพันธ์ 2546 โดยใช้แบบสอบถามที่ผู้วิจัยสร้างขึ้นซึ่งเป็นชนิดตอบเอง โดยส่งแบบสอบถามทางไปรษณีย์ อัตราการตอบกลับ 74.1% เปรียบเทียบความแตกต่างของคะแนนเฉลี่ยโดยใช้ One-Way ANOVA และ Unpaired t-test ผลการศึกษาพบว่า อสม.เป็นเพศชายต่อหญิงคิดเป็น 1:3.7 มีอายุเฉลี่ย 43.5 ปี สถานภาพสมรสคู่ (78.9%) ส่วนใหญ่จบประถมศึกษา (66.8%) มีอาชีพเกษตรกรรม(38.7%) รายได้เฉลี่ย 4,903.69 บาท/เดือน มีประสบการณ์การทำงาน อสม.เฉลี่ย 7.1 ปี บทบาทหน้าที่อื่นนอกเหนือจากการเป็น อสม. คือ กรรมการหมู่บ้าน (31.8%) ในภาพรวมอาสาสมัครสาธารณสุขประจำหมู่บ้านให้ค่าคะแนนเฉลี่ยความคิดเห็นด้านความสำคัญ และความต้องการความรู้และทักษะเพิ่มในระดับมาก แต่ปริมาณงานที่ปฏิบัติจริง อยู่ในระดับปานกลาง เมื่อเปรียบเทียบปัจจัยส่วนบุคคลกับความคิดเห็นพบว่า ตัวแปร เพศ และสถานที่อยู่ ที่แตกต่างกันจะมีความคิดเห็นแตกต่างกันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ (p<0.05) ส่วนระดับการศึกษา และรายได้ ไม่มีความแตกต่างอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ การศึกษานี้แสดงให้เห็นว่าอสม.ให้ความสำคัญและปฏิบัติกิจกรรมสุขภาพจิต ด้านการค้นหาและคัดกรองผู้มีปัญหาสุขภาพจิตในชุมชนได้น้อยเมื่อเปรียบเทียบกับกิจกรรมอื่นๆ เนื่องจาก อสม. ยังขาดองค์ความรู้ ทักษะ สื่อ และเทคโนโลยีด้านสุขภาพจิต ดังนั้นหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้อง ควรสนับสนุนโดยการฝึกอบรมให้ความรู้แก่อสม.อย่างต่อเนื่องและครอบคลุมทุกพื้นที่ เพื่อเป็นการเพิ่มศักยภาพของ อสม. ในการดำเนินงานสุขภาพจิตชุมชนที่มีประสิทธิภาพต่อไป	en
dc.description.abstractalternative	The purpose of this descriptive study was to explore the opinion of village health volunteers (VHVs) toward the importance, practice, and knowledge/skill needed for community mental health activities. The study was conducted during November 2002 and February 2003 by mailing self - administered questionnaires to 2,000 VHVs in 4 provinces (Nonthaburi, Saraburi, Kanchanaburi, and Nakornratchasima). The response rate was 74.1 %. One way ANOVA and unpaired t-test were used for statistical analyses. The results revealed that the ratio of male to female VHVs was 1:3.7. They were 43.5 years old on average, 78.9% were married, 66.8% had primary school education, 38.7% were farmers and earned 4,903.69 Baht per month on average. They served as VHVs for an average of 7.1 years, and 31.8 % of them also served as members in village committee. In general, VHVsʼ opinion toward importance and knowledge/skill needed for community mental health activities were high but those toward practice were moderate. Furthermore, all dimensions of the opinions were significantly different by gender and the different provinces (p<0.05). Whereas educational level and income were not significantly different. This research revealed that VHVsʼ opinion toward importance and practice were least in screening and searching the risk group with mental health problems due to their lack of knowledge, skill, media and technology of mental health. The concerned bodies should provide education and training to VHVs continuously and in every region so that they can effectively perform community mental health activities.	en
