| Abstract: | เปรียบเทียบความสามารถและกลวิธีการสรุปอิงความในการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษ ของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 6 ที่มีระดับความสามารถทางภาษาอังกฤษและพื้นความรู้ในเรื่องที่อ่านต่างกัน ตัวอย่างประชากรที่ใช้ในการวิจัย คือ นักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 6 ซึ่งกำลังศึกษาอยู่ในภาคปลาย ปีการศึกษา 2539 ในโรงเรียนมัธยมศึกษา สังกัดกรมสามัญศึกษา เขตการศึกษา 11 จำนวน 455 คน ซึ่งได้จากการสุ่มตัวอย่างประชากรแบบหลายขั้นตอน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยประกอบด้วย เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูล ได้แก่ แบบสอบความสามารถทางภาษาอังกฤษและแบบสอบพื้นความรู้ในเรื่องที่อ่าน และเครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูล ได้แก่ แบบสอบความสามารถในการสรุปอิงความและแบบวัดกลวิธีการสรุปอิงความในการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษ แบบสอบทั้ง 3 ฉบับ ได้รับการตรวจสอบความครอบคลุมของเนื้อหา และความถูกต้องเหมาะสมในการใช้ภาษาจากผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิ จำนวน 5 ท่าน ก่อนนำไปทดลองใช้ 2 ครั้ง ได้ค่าความเที่ยงของแบบสอบความสามารถทางภาษาอังกฤษ เท่ากับ 0.84 ค่าความเที่ยงแบบสอบพื้นความรู้ในเรื่องที่อ่าน เท่ากับ 0.81 ค่าความเที่ยงแบบสอบความสามารถและกลวิธีการสรุปอิงความในการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษ เท่ากับ 0.88 ผู้วิจัยนำแบบสอบทั้ง 3 ฉบับไปทดสอบกับตัวอย่างประชากรที่เลือกไว้ แล้วนำคะแนนที่ได้มาวิเคราะห์ตามวิธีการทางสถิติ โดยการหาค่ามัชฌิมเลขคณิต ค่าส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน วิเคราะห์ความแปรปรวน 2 ทางและเปรียบเทียบความแตกต่างของการใช้กลวิธีในการสรุปอิงความโดยใช้ไคว์สแควร์ แล้วนำเสนอในรูปตารางประกอบความเรียง ผลการวิจัยสรุปได้ดังนี้ 1. กลวิธีการสรุปอิงความในการอ่านภาษากฤษของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 6 ที่มีระดับความสามารถทางภาษาและพื้นความรู้ในเรื่องที่อ่านต่างกัน แตกต่างกันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .01 2. ความสามารถในการสรุปอิงความในการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษ ของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 6 ที่มีระดับความสามารถทางภาษาและพื้นความรู้ในเรื่องที่อ่านต่างกัน แตกต่างกันอย่างมีความสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .01 3. มีปฏิกิริยาร่วมระหว่างระดับความสามารถทางภาษาอังกฤษกับพื้นความรู้ในเรื่องที่อ่านต่อความสามารถในการสรุปอิงความในการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 6 อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .01 |
| Other Abstract: | The purpose of this research was to compare the inferencing ability and inferencing strategies used in English reading of mathayom suksa six students with different levels of English proficiency and prior reading background. The samples of this research were 455 mathayom suksa six students studying in the second semester of the academic year 1996 in the secondary schools under the jurisdiction of the Department of General Education, educational region 11. The samples were randomed by using the multi-stage random sampling technique. Research instruments consisted of the English proficiency test and prior reading background test for selecting the sample and the inferencing ability and strategies test for collecting data. All the tests were approved theirs appropriateness of content and the language used by five experts before trying twice. The reliability of the English proficiency test, the prior reading background test, and the inferencing ability and strategies test were 0.84, 0.81, 0.88 respectively. The data obtained were statistically analyzed by means of arithmetic mean, standard deviation, two-way analysis of variance, and compared the inferencing strategies used by Chi-Square and presented in tables with description. The results of the study were as follows: 1. There was a statistically significant difference in the inferencing strategies used in English reading of students with different levels of English proficiency and prior reading background at .01 level. 2. There was a statistically significant difference in the inferencing ability in reading English of mathayom suksa six students with different levels of English proficiency and prior reading background at the .01 level. 3. There was an interaction between levels of English proficiency and prior reading background on the inferencing ability in reading English of mathayom suksa six students at .01 level of significance. |
