dc.description.abstract	ปาโบล เนรูดา กวีรางวัลโนเบลชาวชิลี ซึ่งโด่งดังจากกลอนรักวัยรุ่น ยี่สิบกลอนรักและหนึ่งเพลงแห่งความสิ้นหวัง (Veinte poemas de amor y una cancion desesperada) กวีนิพนธ์แนวเหนือจริง ที่พำนักบนแผ่นดิน (Residencia en la tierra) และมหากาพย์แห่งลาตินอเมริกา บทกวีแห่งทวีป (Canto general) ฉลองวันเกิดครบรอบ 50 ปีให้แก่ตนเอง โดยการพิมพ์ โคลงสดุดีสามัญ (Odas elementales) ผลงานซึ่งนับเป็นจุดพลิกผันแนวการเขียนกวีนิพนธ์ของเนรูดาอย่างสิ้นเชิง เนื่องจากกล่าวถึงสิ่งเรียบง่าย เช่น ผัก ผลไม้ และสิ่งต่าง ๆ รอบตัวด้วยระดับภาษาที่ผู้อ่านไม่ว่าชนชั้นใดสามารถเข้าใจได้ แม้ โคลงสดุดีสามัญ จะเป็นที่รู้จักน้อยกว่างานยุคก่อนของกวีและมีนักวิจารณ์จำนวนไม่น้อยมองว่าเป็นผลงานที่ด้อยคุณค่าทางวรรณศิลป์ แต่ในความเป็นจริงแล้ว โคลงสดุดีสามัญ เป็นผลจากการวิวัฒนาการทางการประพันธ์สู่ความเรียบง่ายของเนรูดา โดยมีการประสานวรรณศิลป์ที่แตกต่างจากงานอื่นๆ เข้ากับแนวความคิดทางการเมืองผ่านมุมมองของกวีผู้ซึ่งละทิ้งการสะท้อนเพียงความรู้สึกนึกคิดของตนเองเพื่อบอกเล่าเรื่องราวความเป็นไปในสังคมของตน	en
dc.description.abstractalternative	Pablo Neruda, a Chilean Nobel Prize Winner (1971), is famous for his genius for poetry. The best known are among his published collections of love poems such as Twenty Love Poems and a Song of Despair (Veinte poemas de amor y una cancion desesperada), surrealist poems, for example, Residence on Earth (Residencia en la tierra) and Latin American epics like General Song (Canto general). In 1954, Neruda celebrated his 50th birthday by publishing Elementary Odes (Odas elementales), a book which essentially brings about the turning point of his poetry writing. The poetic subjects in this book are simple and familiar, habitually taken from our everyday life such as vegetables, fruits, etc., and are represented through the language accessible to people from all walks of life. Even though Elementary Odes is not as well known as Neruda’s earlier poems and many critics consider it to be weaker and with less poetic values, this book is a result of his poetic revolution that works its way towards simplicity. Elementary Odes, in itself, is very different from Neruda’s earlier works in that it blends his literary values with his political ideology. As a result, readers get to know Neruda through his viewpoints as a poet who ceases to present only his own inner feelings in order to concentrate purely on describing what occurs in his society.	en
