dc.description.abstractalternative	We study the placing of a right prism with rectangular cross section, called plank, in a box. The goal is to find the way to place the longest plank of given cross section in a given box. The long standing conjecture stated that the longest placement is when all of the 8 corners of the plank are on faces of the box. We show this for huge boxes. In addition, we also prove that the plank must lie diagonally.	en
