| Abstract: | ข้อมูลของพ่อสุกรพันธุ์แท้ดูร็อค แลนด์เรซ และยอร์คเชียร์ สายพันธุ์ฟินแลนด์และนอรเวย์ของฟาร์มสุกรเชิงการค้าแห่งหนึ่งทางภาคกลางของประเทศไทย จำนวน 9,760 บันทึก จากพ่อพันธุ์สุกร 108 ตัว ถูกนำมาใช้ในการประมาณค่าพารามิเอร์ทางพันธุกรรมสำหรับลักษณะคุณภาพน้ำเชื้อ ได้แก่ ปริมาตรน้ำเชื้อ (SV) ความเข้มขันของน้ำเชื้อ (SC) จำนวนตัวอสุจิทั้งหมด (TS) และจำนวนอสุจิผิดปกติทั้งหมด (TA) และสำหรับลักษณะการให้ผลผลิต ได้แก่ อัตราการเจริญเติบโตต่อวัน (ADG) และความหนาไขมันสันหลัง (BF) ข้อมูลลักษณะคุณภาพน้ำเชื้อมีการบันทึกตั้งแต่ปี พ.ศ. 2544 ถึง 2552 ยกเว้นข้อมูลของจำนวนตัวอสุจิผิดปกติทั้งหมดที่เริ่มบันทึก เมื่อปี พ.ศ. 2546 ผลการศึกษาพบว่า พันธุ์ของพ่อพันธุ์สุกรมีอิทธิพลต่อลักษณะคุณภาพน้ำเชื้อทุกลักษณะ และ BF อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ (p<0.05) อายุที่รีดน้ำเชื้อ ระยะห่างระหว่างการรีดน้ำเชื้อ และปี-เดือนที่ทำการรีดน้ำเชื้อมีอิทธิพลต่อลักษณะคุณภาพน้ำเชื้อทุกลักษณะอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ (p<0.05) ขณะที่ปีที่พ่อพันธุ์สุกรเกิดมีอิทธิพลต่อ ADG และ BF อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ (p<0.05) ค่าอัตราพันธุกรรมของลักษณะคุณภาพน้ำเชื้อมีค่าปานกลางถึงสูง (0.29 ถึง 0.49) ค่าอัตราพันธุกรรมของ ADG และ BF มีค่าเท่ากับ 0.04 ± 0.13 และ 0.18 ± 0.08 ตามลำดับ ค่าอัตราซ้ำของลักษณะคุณภาพน้ำเชื้อมีค่าตั้งแต่ 0.30 ถึง 0.61 ค่าสหสัมพันธ์ทางพันธุกรรมระหว่างลักษณะระหว่างการให้ผลผลิต และลักษณะคุณภาพน้ำเชื้อทุกลักษณะไม่มีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ (p>0.05) ยกเว้น BF และ SV (rgg = -0.52 ± 0.19) ค่าสหสัมพันธ์ทางพันธุกรรมระหว่างลักษณะคุณภาพน้ำเชื้อแต่ละลักษณะไม่มีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ (p>0.05) ยกเว้น SV และ SC (rgg = -0.45 ± 0.18) และ SV และ TS (rgg = 0.57 ± 0.16) ค่าสหสัมพันธ์ทางพันธุกรรมระหว่าง ADG และ BF มีค่าเท่ากับ -076 ± 0.11 ผลการศึกษาพบว่า ลักษณะคุณภาพน้ำเชื้อมีความแปรปรวนทางพันธุกรรมเพียงพอที่จะทำการคัดเลือกได้ และการคัดเลือกพ่อพันธุ์สุกรโดยการพิจารณาจากลักษณะการห้ผลผลิตเพียงอย่างเดียว ไม่ส่งผลเสียต่อลักษณะคุณภาพน้ำเชื้อของพ่อพันธุ์สุกร |
| Other Abstract: | A total of 9,760 records of 108 purebred Finnish-Norwegian boars; Duroc,Landrace and Yorkshire, from a commercial farm in the central part of Thailand were used to estimate genetic parameters for (1) semen quality traits which were semen volume (SV), semen concentration (SC), total sperm (TS), and total abnormality (TA) and (2) production traits which were average daily gain (ADG), and back fat thickness (BF). The data of semen quality traits were recorded from 2001 to 2009,except TA that was started recording in 2003. The results demonstrated that breed of boar was ignificant for all semen quality traits and BF (p<0.05). Age of collection,collection interval and year-month group affected all semen quality traits significantly(p<0.05). Meanwhile, the group of birth year of boar had a significant effect on ADG and BF (p<0.05). Heritability estimates for all semen quality traits ranged from medium to high magnitude (0.29 to 0.49). The heritabilities of ADG and BF were 0.40 ± 0.13 and 0.18 ± 0.08, respectively. The repeatabilities ranged from 0.30 to 0.61 for all semen quality traits. Genetic correlations between production and semen quality traits were not significant (p>0.05), except the relationship between BF and SV(rgg = -0.52 ± 0.19). No significant genetic correlations were found among semen quality traits, except SV and SC (rgg = -0.45 ± 0.18) as well as SV and TS (rgg = 0.57 ± 0.16).The genetic correlation between ADG and BF was -0.76 ± 0.11. These results indicated that the presence of genetic variation was sufficient for selection acting on semen quality traits and selection boars considering only production traits would not abate semen quality. |
