| Abstract: | วัตถุประสงค์ของการวิจัย เพื่อศึกษาอัตราและทิศทางการเจริญเติบโตของโครงสร้างใบหน้าคนไทย ระหว่างอายุ 8 - 18 ปี เปรียบเทียบความแตกต่างของอัตราและทิศทางการเจริญเติบโตระหว่างเพศและ เปรียบเทียบความแตกต่างของอัตราและทิศทางการเจริญเติบโตระหว่างอายุในแต่เพศ ความรู้ที่ได้จากการวิจัยครั้งนี้ จะนำมาใช้ประโยชน์ในการวินิจฉัย วางแผนการบำบัดรักษาทางทันตกรรมจัดฟันและเป็นแนวทางการศึกษาวิจัยต่อไป วิธีการดำเนินการวิจัย กลุ่มตัวอย่างจำนวน 660 คน (ชาย 330 คน หญิง 330 คน ) ได้จากการสุ่มแบบหลายขั้นตอนจากนักเรียนในกรุงเทพมหานคร อายุ 8 - 18 ปี ซึ่งมีการสบฟันปกติใบหน้าได้สัดส่วน สุขภาพแข็งแรงและไม่เคยได้รับการบำบัดรักษาทางทันตกรรมจัดฟันมาก่อน อัตราและทิศทางการเจริญเติบโตศึกษาจากภาพถ่ายรังสีเอกซ์ของกะโหลกศรีษะด้านข้าง ในลักษณะโคออร์ดิเนตสัมพันธ์กับระนาบ SN ซึ่งเป็นระนาบอ้างอิงในแนวนอน และ เส้นตั้งฉากกับระนาบ SN ที่จุด S เป็นระนาบอ้างอิงในแนวดิ่ง ความแตกต่างระหว่างเพศและอายุของอัตราและทิศการเจริญเติบโตของกระดูกโครงสร้างใบหน้า ศึกษาโดยใช้สถิติวิเคราะห์ความแปรปรวนที่ระดับนัยสำคัญ .01 สรุปผลการวิจัย 1.อัตราและทิศทางการเจริญเติบโตของกระดูกโครงสร้างใบหน้าบริเวณต่าง ๆ มีลักษณะดังนี้ 1.1 จุดกำหนดทางด้านหน้า ได้แก่ 1.1.1 ANS, A, Ii, B และ Pog มีทิศทางการเจริญเติบโตไปทางหน้าและลงล่าง 1.1.2 N มีทิศทางการเจริญเติบโตไปทางด้านหน้าเพียงอย่างเดียว 1.2 จุดกำหนดทางด้านหลัง ได้แก่ 1.2.1 Go มีทิศทางการเจริญเติบโตไปทางด้านหลังและลงล่าง 1.2.2 PNS มีทิศทางการเจริญเติบโตลงล่าง 2.อัตราและทิศทางการเจริญเติบโตของกระดูกโครงสร้างใบหน้าไม่มีความแตกต่างระหว่างเพศ 3. อัตราและทิศทางการเจริญเติบโตของกระดูกโครงสร้างใบหน้าไม่มีความแตกต่างระหว่างอายุในแต่ละเพศ |
| Other Abstract: | Purpose of the Study The purposes of this research were to study the rates and directions of facial skeleton growth in Thai at the age of 8- 18, as well as to compare their significant difference between sexes at the same age, and among ages in each sex. The knowledge from this study would be beneficial for orthodontic diagnosis and treatment planning and be the basis for further research. Method of the Study. The 660 samplings ( 330 males and 330 females ) were selected by the multistage sampling from Bangkok students at the age of 8 - 18. Each group consisted of 30 males and 30 females with normal occlusion, acceptable profile. These individuals were healthy and untreated orthodontics. The rates and directions of facial skeleton growth were studied from the lateral cephalometry in the manner of the co-ordinate that associated with the SN plane (abscissar) and its vertical line at point S (ordinate). The significant difference of facial skeleton growth rates and directions between sexes and among ages were analyzed by the Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) at. 01 level. Research Results 1.The rates and directions of facial skeleton growth were as the following : 1.1 The anterior landmarks 1.1.1The growth of ANS, A, Ii, B and Pog were in forward and downward directions. 1.1.2The growth of N was in forward direction 1.2 The posterior landmarks 1.2 .1 The growth of Go was in backward and downward directions 1.2.2 The growth of PNS was in downward direction. 2. There was no significant difference between sexes of facial skeleton growth rates and directions. 3. There was no significant difference among ages in each sex of facial skeleton growth rates and directions. |
