| Abstract: | การวิจัยครั้งนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อสำรวจความสนใจในอาชีพของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 3 และมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 6 ปีการศึกษา 2527 ในภาคใต้ จำแนกตามตัวแปรระดับชั้นเรียน เพศของนักเรียน อาชีพของบิดา อาชีพของมารดา ระดับการศึกษาของบิดามารดา ระดับรายได้ของบิดามารดา ระดับสัมฤทธิ์ผลทางการเรียนของนักเรียน และระดับความรู้ความเข้าใจเกี่ยวกับลักษณะงาน และความรู้ความสามารถที่ใช้ในอาชีพที่สนใจ กลุ่มตัวอย่างประกอบด้วย นักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 3 จำนวน 1195 คน เป็นชาย 563 คน และหญิง 632 คน นักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 6 จำนวน 1040 คน เป็นชาย 442 คน และหญิง 598 คน โดยใช้วิธีการสุ่มกลุ่มตัวอย่างแบบแบ่งชั้นหลายขั้นตอน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการรวบรวมข้อมูล เป็นแบบสอบถามที่ผู้วิจัยและคณะร่วมกับสร้างขึ้น ประกอบด้วย 2 ส่วน ส่วนที่ 1 เป็นแบบสอบถามข้อมูลส่วนตัว และข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับบิดามารดาของนักเรียน และส่วนที่ 2 เป็นแบบสอบถามความสนใจในอาชีพของนักเรียน การวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลใช้ การคำนวณหาค่าร้อยละของจำนวนนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 3 และมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 6 ที่สนใจในอาชีพต่าง ๆ จำแนกตามตัวแปรที่ศึกษา ผลการวิจัยสรุปได้ดังนี้ 1. ความสนใจในอาชีพอันดับ 1 2 และ 3 ปรากฏว่า นักเรียนชายและหญิงชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 3 และมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 6 ต่างสนใจในอาชีพหมวดวิชาชีพ วิชาการมากที่สุด 2. เมื่อพิจารณาตามรายชื่ออาชีพที่นักเรียนสนใจมากที่สุด 5 อาชีพแรกของความสนใจในอาชีพอันดับ 1 ปรากฏว่า นักเรียนชายชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 3 สนใจในอาชีพ ตำรวจ วิศวกร แพทย์ ช่างเทคนิควิศวกรรมไฟฟ้า และทหาร ตามลำดับ นักเรียนหญิงชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 3 สนใจในอาชีพ พยาบาล แพทย์ พนักงานธนาคาร เลขานุการ และครู ตามลำดับ นักเรียนชายชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 6 สนใจในอาชีพ ทหาร ตำรวจ ข้าราชการฝ่ายปกครอง ทำฟาร์มเลี้ยงสัตว์ และนักบิน ตามลำดับ ส่วนนักเรียนหญิงชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 6 สนใจในอาชีพ พยาบาล ครู นักธุรกิจ พนักงานธนาคาร และเลขานุการ ตามลำดับ 3. ความสนใจในอาชีพ ของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 3 และมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 6 เมื่อจำแนกตามอาชีพของบิดา และอาชีพของมารดาปรากฏว่า นักเรียนต่างสนใจในอาชีพหมวดวิชาชีพ วิชาการมากที่สุด และความสนใจในอาชีพของนักเรียนส่วนใหญ่ไม่สอดคล้องกับอาชีพของบิดา และอาชีพของมารดา ยกเว้นนักเรียนที่บิดาและมารดาประกอบอาชีพในหมวดวิชาชีพ วิชาการ อยู่แล้ว 4. ความสนใจในอาชีพของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 3 และมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 6 เมื่อจำแนกตามระดับการศึกษาของบิดามารดา ระดับรายได้ของบิดามารดา และระดับสัมฤทธิผลทางการเรียนของนักเรียน ปรากฏว่า นักเรียนต่างให้ความสนใจในอาชีพหมวดวิชาชีพ วิชาการมากที่สุด 5. นักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 3 ให้เหตุผลของความสนใจในอาชีพในลำดับ 1 ในด้านการมีรายได้ดีค่าตอบแทนสูงมากที่สุด รองลงมาได้แก่ การได้ช่วยเหลือผู้อื่นอันเป็นประโยชน์ต่อสังคมและประเทศชาติ การได้ทำงานตรงตามความสามารถ ลักษณะงานตรงกับที่ต้องการทำและเป็นอาชีพที่มีอิสระในการทำงาน ตามลำดับ ส่วนนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 6 ให้เหตุผลความสนใจในอาชีพ ด้านการได้ช่วยเหลือผู้อื่นอันเป็นประโยชน์ต่อสังคมและประเทศชาติมากที่สุด รองลงมา ได้แก่ การได้ทำงานตรงตามความสามารถ ลักษณะงานตรงกับที่ต้องการทำ การมีรายได้ดีค่าตอบแทนสูง และเป็นอาชีพที่มีอิสระในการทำงาน ตามลำดับ 6. นักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 3 และมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 6 มีความรู้ความเข้าใจเกี่ยวกับลักษณะงานที่ทำ ในอาชีพที่สนใจเป็นอันดับ 1 อยู่ในระดับปานกลาง และมีความรู้ความเข้าใจเกี่ยวกับ ความรู้ความสามารถที่ต้องใช้ในอาชีพที่สนใจเป็นอันดับ 1 อยู่ในระดับปานกลางและไม่ถูกต้อง |
| Other Abstract: | The purpose of this study was to survey to vocational interests of Mathayom Suksa Three and Mathayom Suksa Six students in the Southern Region for the academic year 1984 according to the following variables : class level, sex, fathers’ occupation, mothers’occupation, parents’ level of education, parents’level of income, students’level of achievement and students’level of proper understanding of job nature, knowledge and capability which required for interested occupations. The subjects were 1195 Mathayom Suksa Three students (563 Boys 632 Girls) and 10400 Mathayom Suksa Six students (442 Boys 598 Girls), selected by multiple stratified random sampling. A questionnaire, developed by the researcher and other graduate students, was used for data collection. It consisted of 2 parts, the first part covered personal-data and data on the parents and the second part was the vocational interests questionnaire. Data of vocational interests of Mathayom Suksa Three and Mathayom Suksa Six students were analyzed by computing percentages. Finding Showed that: 1. For both boys and girls in Mathayom Suksa Three and Six, the highest vocational interest choices for the first, the second and the third order of preference are for Professional – Technical occupations. 2. For the first order of preference, five occupations expressed to be the highest vocational interest choices for boys in Mathayom Suksa Three are policemen, engineers, physicians, electronic and electrical-engineering-technicians and the armed forces. Girls in Mathayom Suksa Three prefer nurses, physicians, bankers, secretaries and teachers. Boys in Mathayom Suksa Six perfere armed forces, policemen, governors, farming-workers and pilots. And girls in Mathayom Suksa Six perfer nurses, teachers, businesswomen, bankers and secretaries. 3. With respect to the fathers’ and mothers’ occupation. The Mathayom Suksa Three and Six students’ highest vocational interest choices are for Professional-Technical occupations. Most of the students’ vocational interests do not follow the occupations of their parents, except for those students whose parents are already involved with Professional – Technical occupations. 4. With respect to the variables of parents’ level of education and level of income and the students’level of academic achievement, the Mathayom Suksa Three and Six students’ highest vocational interest choices are for Professional-Technical occupations. 5. The main reasons given by Mathayom Suksa Three students for their vocational interests are gaining better income, helping others for the benefit of society and country, job relevant to their capability, job nature pertinent to their needs and independent work, respectively. For the Mathayom Suksa Six students, the main reasons for their vocational interests are helping others for the benefits of society and country, job relevant to their capability, job nature pertinent to their needs, gaining better income and independent work, respectively. 6. For vocational interests in the first order of preference, the subjects show a moderate level of proper understanding of job nature; moderate and false level of knowledge and capability which required for those interested occupations. |
