| Abstract: | การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีจุดมุ่งหมายที่จะศึกษาการใช้ “วิธีการโคลซ” วัดความเข้าใจในการอ่าน กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการศึกษาครั้งนี้เป็นนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 5 ปีที่ 6 และปีที่ 7 ทั้งชายหญิง จำนวน 207 คน จากโรงเรียนวัดพลับพลาชัย เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการรวบรวมข้อมูลคือ แบบทดสอบโคลซที่ตัดคำทุกคำที่ 5 และที่ 8 และแบบทดสอบความเข้าใจในการอ่านแบบเลือกตอบ ซึ่งสร้างจากข้อความเดียวกัน นำแบบทดสอบทั้งสองชนิดไปสอบกลุ่มตัวอย่างที่เลือกได้ และขอทราบคะแนนวิชาอ่านเอาเรื่องของโรงเรียนที่สอบในภาคเรียนที่ 2 ของกลุ่มตัวอย่างในปีการศึกษา 2516 เพื่อนำมาเปรียบเทียบกับคะแนนจากแบบทดสอบทั้งสองชนิดนี้ การวิจัยปรากฏผลดังนี้ 1. แบบทดสอบโคลซที่ตัดคำทุกคำที่ 5 และที่ 8 สามารถวัดความเข้าใจในการอ่านได้ และ เมื่อเปรียบเทียบคะแนนความเข้าใจในการอ่านที่ได้จากแบบทดสอบโคลซทั้งสองชุดในชั้นต่าง ๆ พบว่าไม่มีความแตกต่างอย่างมีนัยสำคัญระหว่างแบบทดสอบโคลซทั้งสองชุด ในชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 5 และปีที่ 6 แต่มีความแตกต่างในชั้นประถมปีที่ 7 อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .01 2. แบบทดสอบโคลซทั้งสองชนิดใช้แทนแบบทดสอบความเข้าใจในการอ่านแบบเลือกตอบ และแบบทดสอบวิชาอ่านเอาเรื่องของโรงเรียนได้ 3. แบบทดสอบโคลซทั้งสองชนิดสามารถจำแนกความเข้าใจในการอ่านของกลุ่มที่มีความสามารถในการอ่านสูงกว่าและต่ำกว่าได้ ในกลุ่มที่ทำแบบทดสอบโคลซที่ตัดคำทุกคำที่ 5 คะแนนความเข้าใจในการอ่านในชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 6 และปีที่ 7 สูงกว่าชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 5 อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .01 ส่วนกลุ่มที่ทำแบบทดสอบโคลซที่คำทุกคำที่ 8 คะแนนความเข้าใจในการอ่านในชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 7 สูงกว่าชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 5 และปีที่ 6 อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .01 และคะแนนความเข้าใจในการอ่านในชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 6 สูงกว่าชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 5 อย่างมีนัยสำคัญที่ระดับ .05 |
| Other Abstract: | The purpose of this research was to study how to use the “Cloze procedure” for measuring Thai reading comprehension. The subjects were 207 students (boys and girls) studying in pratomsuksa 5, 6 and 7 wat plubphachai school. Two types of cloze test and multiple – choice reading comprehension test were constructed over the same passages. One cloze test was made by deleting every fifth word from the chosen passage and the second cloze test was made by deleting every eighth word from the passage. Then the tests were administered to the subjects. The results from the school reading comprehension test, administered in the second term of 1973, were taken in order to compare with the two cloze test scores. The major results were: 1.The two cloze tests can measure Thai reading comprehension. No Significant differences were found between the two cloze test scores(the one in which every fifth word was deleted and the one in which every eighth word was deleted) in pratomsuksa 5 and 6,but there was significant difference between the two cloze in pratomsuksa 7 (p< .01) 2. The two cloze test may substitute for the multiple – choice test and the school reading comprehension test. 3. The two cloze tests can discriminate between levels of reading ability. The students who did the fifth word Cloze deletion in Pratomsuksa 6 and 7 have significantly higher scores than those in Pratomsuksa 5 (P<.01).The students who did the eighth word Cloze deletion in Pratomsuksa 7 have significantly higher scores than Pratomsuksa 5 and 6 (P<.01) and those in Pratomsuksa 6 have significantly higher than Pratomsuksa 5 (P<.05). |
