| dc.description.abstract | จุดมุ่งหมายของวิทยานิพนธ์ฉบับนี้คือ การศึกษาเปรียบต่างของการใช้ภาษาที่แสดงเวลาอนาคตในภาษาอังกฤษและภาษาไทยทั้งในด้านความหมายและรูปภาษาเพื่อที่จะแสดงให้เห็นลักษณะที่เหมือนและแตกต่างกันของทั้งสองภาษา โดยใช้ทฤษฎีไวยากรณ์ปริวรรตเป็นหลักในการวิเคราะห์และใช้หลักการของ เอส. พิท คอร์เตอร์ เป็นรูปแบบในการเปรียบต่าง จากผลของการวิเคราะห์อาจสรุปได้ว่า 1. การใช้ภาษาที่แสดงเวลาอนาคตในภาษาอังกฤษและภาษาไทยมีทั้งความเหมือนและความแตกต่างกันในด้านความหมายและลักษณะทางวากยสัมพันธ์ในโครงสร้างลึก และกฎการปริวรรตที่เกี่ยวข้องกับเรื่องดังกล่าว 2. ในระดับโครงสร้างผิว การใช้ภาษาที่แสดงเวลาอนาคตในภาษาอังกฤษแสดงโดยวิธีการทางวากยสัมพันธ์และทางระบบหน่วยคำ ส่วนในภาษาไทยสั้นจะแสดงโดยวิธีการทางวากยสัมพันธ์อย่างเดียวเท่านั้น | |
| dc.description.abstractalternative | The purpose of this study is to contrast the expressions of future time English and Thai both in meaning and forms in order to show similarities and differences in both languages. This study employs Transformational Grammar as a model of linguistic analysis and S. Pit Corder’s framework as a model of contrastive analysis. The results of the study are the following : 1. The expressions of future time in English and Thai indicate similarities and differences at the semantic and syntactic levels (deep structure and transformational rules). 2. At the surface level, the expressions of future time in English are manifested syntactically and morphologically; whereas in Thai only syntactically. | |
