dc.description.abstractการวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาการวางแผนบุคลากรทางด้านเทคโนโลยีคอมพิวเตอร์ในห้องสมุดสถาบันอุดมศึกษาของรัฐและเอกชน จำนวน 45 แห่ง ในเรื่องความต้องการบุคลากรทางด้านเทคโนโลยีคอมพิวเตอร์ ปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อการวางแผนบุคลากรทางด้านเทคโนโลยีคอมพิวเตอร์ และวิธีการพัฒนาบุคลากรทางด้านเทคโนโลยีคอมพิวเตอร์ โดยตั้งสมมติฐานการวิจัยไว้ 3 ประการ คือ 1. ห้องสมุดสถาบันอุดมศึกษามีความต้องการบุคลากรทางด้านเทคโนโลยีคอมพิวเตอร์ที่มีวุฒิการศึกษาระดับปริญญาโทขึ้นไปและมีประสบการณ์การปฏิบัติงานทางด้านเทคโนโลยีคอมพิวเตอร์ 2. งบประมาณ นโยบายของผู้บริหารห้องสมุด และประเภทงานที่ใช้เทคโนโลยีคอมพิวเตอร์เป็นปัจจัยสำคัญที่มีผลต่อการวางแผนบุคลากรทางด้านเทคโนโลยีคอมพิวเตอร์ 3. ห้องสมุดสถาบันอุดมศึกษาพัฒนาบุคลากรทางด้านเทคโนโลยีคอมพิวเตอร์โดยวิธีการฝึกอบรมในระหว่างปฏิบัติงาน การวิจัยได้ใช้แบบสอบถามและการสัมภาษณ์เป็นเครื่องมือในการเก็บข้อมูล ผลการวิจัยสรุปได้ดังนี้ 1. ห้องสมุดสถาบันอุดมศึกษาส่วนใหญ่มีการวางแผนบุคลากรทางด้านเทคโนโลยีคอมพิวเตอร์ 2. ปัจจัยสำคัญที่มีผลต่อการวางแผนบุคลากรทางด้านเทคโนโลยีคอมพิวเตอร์ ได้แก่ งบประมาณห้องสมุด ประเภทงานที่ใช้เทคโนโลยีคอมพิวเตอร์ และคุณสมบัติและความสามารถของบุคลากรที่ปฏิบัติงานในปัจจุบัน ตามลำดับ 3. ห้องสมุดสถาบันอุดมศึกษาส่วนใหญ่ประสบปัญหาบุคลากรไม่เพียงพอ และมีความต้องการบุคลากรทางด้านเทคโนโลยีคอมพิวเตอร์ โดยในแง่คุณสมบัติ พบว่า ผู้บริหารห้องสมุดมีความต้องการบุคลากรที่มีวุฒิปริญญาโทสาขาบรรณารักษศาสตร์ที่มีความรู้และประสบการณ์ทางด้านคอมพิวเตอร์มากที่สุด ขณะที่ในแง่ปริมาณนั้น พบว่า ต้องการบุคลากรที่มีวุฒิต่ำกว่าปริญญาตรีในปริมาณที่มากที่สุด 4. วิธีการพัฒนาบุคลากรทางด้านคอมพิวเตอร์ที่ห้องสมุดใช้และคาดว่าจะใช้มากที่สุด คือ การฝึกอบรมในระหว่างปฏิบัติงาน-
dc.description.abstractalternativeThis research aims to study the planning of computer technology personnel in 45 state and private academic libraries. The need for computer technology personnel, factors influencing the planning, and staff development methods are investigated. The hypothesis of the study are as follows : 1. Academic libraries need the computer technology personnel who have received at least master’s degree and have computer experience 2. Budget, library administrators’ policy, and types of work are important factors in personnel planning 3. On-the-job-training is employed for staff development. Questionnaires and interviews are used to gather data. The results of the study can be summarized as follows : 1. Most academic libraries have computer technology personnel plans 2. The important factors affecting personnel planning are libraries budget, types of work, and staff competencies, respectively 3. Staff shortage is major problem faced by the academic libraries, and computer technology personnel who received master’s degree in library and information science with computer experience are needed. In term of quantity, the staff with less than bachelor’s degree is required 4. The method that the academic libraries have used and plan to use for staff development is on-the-job-training.-
