dc.description.abstract	วัตถุประสงค์ เพื่อประเมินลักษณะทางคลินิก อาการเจ็บปวด ความพึงพอใจในการใช้ยา และผลข้างเคียงของสารอะซีแมนแนน ความเข้มข้นร้อยละ 0.5 ในการรักษาแผลร้อนในในช่องปาก ภายในระยะเวลา 7 วัน โดยเปรียบเทียบกับยาไตรแอมซิโนโลน อะเซโตไนด์ ความเข้มข้นร้อยละ 0.1 วัสดุและวิธีการ กลุ่มตัวอย่างคือ อาสาสมัครที่เป็นแผลร้อนใน จำนวน 52 ราย และได้รับการสุ่มแบ่งออกเป็น 2 กลุ่ม กลุ่มละ 26 คน เพื่อได้รับยาไปใช้รักษา โดยทายาที่ได้รับวันละ 4 ครั้ง เป็นระยะเวลา 7 วัน การวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลใช้สถิติ Student’s t test เพื่อวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลระหว่างกลุ่ม และใช้สถิติ repeated measure ANOVA เพื่อวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลภายในกลุ่ม โดยกำหนด p-value<0.05 จึงจะมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ ผลการศึกษา พบว่าเมื่อเปรียบเทียบขนาดของแผล ความเจ็บปวด และความพึงพอใจในการใช้ยาจากการรักษาทั้ง 2 กลุ่ม พบว่าไม่แตกต่างกันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ นอกจากนี้ไม่พบภาวะแทรกซ้อนจากการรักษาด้วยยาทั้ง 2 กลุ่ม สรุป การรักษาแผลร้อนในในช่องปากด้วยสารอะซีแมนแนน ความเข้มข้น ร้อยละ 0.5 ให้ประสิทธิภาพการรักษาเทียบเท่าการรักษาด้วยยาไตรแอมซิโนโลน อะเซโตไนด์ ความเข้มข้น ร้อยละ 0.1 ในด้านการลดขนาดแผลร้อนใน ลดความเจ็บปวด และความพึงพอใจในการใช้ยา รวมทั้งไม่พบผลข้างเคียง ดังนั้นสารอะซีแมนแนน ความเข้มข้นร้อยละ 0.5 สามารถใช้เป็นทางเลือกหนึ่งในการรักษาแผลร้อนในในช่องปาก	en_US
dc.description.abstractalternative	Objectives: The aims of this research were to evaluate changes in ulcer size, pain reduction, satisfaction and side effects of 0.5% Acemannan for recurrent aphthous ulcers treatment when compared with 0.1% Triamcinolone acetonide. Materials and Methods: 52 volunteers with recurrent aphthous ulcers were randomly divided into 2 groups, with 26 volunteers per group. Medication was applied to the ulcer site 4 times/day for 7 days. Student’s t test was used to compare the difference between the two groups and repeated measure ANOVA was used to analyse the difference within group. p-value <0.05 was considered to be statistically significant. Results: There was no significant difference in ulcer size and pain reduction, as well as, satisfaction between subjects treated with 0.5% Acemannan and 0.1% Triamcinolone acetonide. No side effects were reported in both groups. Conclusion: 0.5% Acemannan and 0.1% Triamcinolone acetonide comparable efficacy in ulcer size reduction, pain reduction and satisfaction with no side effects in patients with recurrent aphthous ulcers. Therefore, 0.5% Acemannan can be an alternative treatment for oral aphthous ulcers.	en_US
