| Abstract: | การศึกษาครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ ศึกษาการพัฒนาคุณภาพเพื่อความยั่งยืนในโรงพยาบาลเอกชนที่ผ่านการรับรองระดับสากลแห่งหนึ่ง โดยใช้ระเบียบวิธีวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ (Qualitative research) แบบการศึกษาเฉพาะกรณี (Case study approach) รวบรวมข้อมูลด้วยวิธีการสัมภาษณ์แบบเจาะลึก การบันทึกเทปและการจดบันทึกภาคสนาม ผู้ให้ข้อมูลเป็นผู้ที่มีประสบการณ์ตรงในการดำเนินการพัฒนาคุณภาพอย่างต่อเนื่องนับตั้งแต่ได้รับการรับรองคุณภาพระดับสากลจนกระทั่งปัจจุบัน จำนวน 18 คน ประกอบด้วย ผู้บริหารระดับสูง 5 คน ระดับผู้บริหาร 8 คน และกลุ่มระดับปฏิบัติการ 5 คน วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยวิธีการวิเคราะห์เชิงเนื้อหา (Content analysis) ผลการศึกษาสรุปได้ว่า การพัฒนาคุณภาพเพื่อความยั่งยืนในโรงพยาบาลเอกชนที่ผ่านการรับรองคุณภาพระดับสากลนั้นเป็นการสร้างความต่อเนื่องของกระบวนการทำงานอย่างมีประสิทธิภาพตามมาตรฐานในระดับสากลที่เน้นการทำงานคุณภาพควบคู่ไปกับการทำงานด้วยความสุขเพื่อความยั่งยืน ประกอบด้วย 1) การสร้างความเข้าใจพื้นฐานของการพัฒนากับพนักงานทุกคน 2) ลงมือปฏิบัติลงมือทำด้วยตนเอง 3)อบรมอย่างต่อเนื่องและประเมินผลภายในอย่างสม่ำเสมอ 4) การทำงานต่อยอด จนกลายเป็นวัฒนธรรมคุณภาพขององค์การและ 5) การทำงานคุณภาพด้วยความสุข กลยุทธ์สำคัญในการพัฒนาคุณภาพเพื่อความยั่งยืน คือการทำกิจกรรมพัฒนาคุณภาพอย่างต่อเนื่อง ประกอบด้วย 1) การฝึกอบรม 2) ผู้บริหารพบพนักงาน 3) ผู้บริหารลงพื้นที่ 4) กิจกรรมการติดตามคุณภาพการบันทึก 5) การทำงานพัฒนาคุณภาพอย่างต่อเนื่อง 6) กิจกรรมการตรวจคุณภาพภายใน 7) การประชาสัมพันธ์ 8) การทดสอบระดับความเข้าใจ (9) จัดเวทีให้พบปะพูดคุย ปัจจัยที่ทำให้เกิดความสำเร็จ ประกอบด้วย 1) ความมุ่งมั่นของผู้บริหารและทีมผู้นำ 2) ความมุ่งมั่นของบุคลากร 3) แนวนโยบายการปรับปรุงคุณภาพอย่างต่อเนื่องของโรงพยาบาล 4) วัฒนธรรมองค์การ 5) การสื่อสารที่มีประสิทธิภาพ องค์ความรู้จากการศึกษาครั้งนี้สามารถเป็นบทเรียนและแนวทางในการพัฒนาคุณภาพเพื่อความยั่งยืนในโรงพยาบาลเอกชนระดับสากลในการให้บริการผู้ป่วยในยุคที่กำลังจะก้าวไปสู่ประชาคมเศรษฐกิจอาเซียน (AEC) และนโยบาย Medical Hub ของประเทศไทย |
| Other Abstract: | This research had as its objective to study quality development for sustainability in an international accredited private hospital by using qualitative research with a case study approach. Data was collected via in-depth interviews, recordings and field notes. Informants were those with direct experience in continuous quality development since receiving international accreditation. The total number of 18 informants comprised five top-level executives, eight lower-level executives, and five operational level staff. Content analysis was then conducted of the data. The research results are concluded below. The quality development for sustainability in an international accredited private hospital is the accumulation of ongoing efficient work processes according to international standards focusing on performing quality work in a sustainable manner. This consists of the following elements: 1) creating a fundamental understanding of development in every employee, 2) performing hands-on work, 3) arranging training and internal evaluation regularly, 4) continual improvement of work performance so it becomes ingrained in the organization’s quality culture, and 5) working with quality in a sustainable manner. The major factor in quality development for sustainability involves conducting quality development activities on an ongoing basis. Strategies include: 1) training, 2) management meeting with employees, 3) management getting involved in front line work, 4) conducting follow-up activities with quality records, 5) doing continuous quality development work, 6) conducting internal audits of quality activities, 7) emphasizing public relations, 8) testing of the level of understanding, and 9) providing a forum for dialogue. Success factors comprise: 1) determination of the management and team of leaders, 2) determination of staff, 3) hospital policy guidelines regarding continuous quality improvement, 4) organizational culture, and 5) effective communication. The body of knowledge from this research study could be used as guidelines in quality development for sustainability in international accredited private hospitals providing services for patients at a time when the ASEAN Economic Community is being realized and when Thailand has a policy to become a medical hub. |
