dc.description.abstract	วิทยานิพนธ์ฉบับนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อทำความเข้าใจขบวนการคัดค้านโครงการท่าเรือในอำเภอท่าศาลา จังหวัดนครศรีธรรมราช ทั้งในด้านการประกอบสร้างของขบวนการ และวาทกรรมและปฏิบัติการทางวาทกรรมที่ขบวนการใช้ การอธิบายการประกอบสร้างของขบวนการใช้แนวคิดขบวนการทางสังคมรูปแบบใหม่และทฤษฎีระดมทรัพยากร ส่วนวาทกรรมและปฏิบัติการทางวาทกรรมของขบวนการอาศัยการวิเคราะห์วาทกรรม โดยใช้ข้อมูลปฐมภูมิและทุติยภูมิที่เกี่ยวข้องกับโครงการท่าเรือและขบวนการคัดค้าน รวมไปถึงการสัมภาษณ์ผู้ให้ข้อมูลหลักที่เกี่ยวข้องกับขบวนการ ผลการศึกษาพบว่า ขบวนการเริ่มต้นจากปัญญาชนท้องถิ่นเชื่อมโยงกับปัญญาชนอิสระ กลุ่มประมงพื้นบ้านในพื้นที่และพื้นที่ใกล้เคียง ผู้นำการเมืองท้องถิ่น รวมถึงเครือข่ายพันธมิตรทั้งในพื้นที่และในพื้นที่ที่อยู่ห่างไกลซึ่งมีความวิตกกังวลเรื่องผลกระทบทางสิ่งแวดล้อมและสุขภาพของโครงการ เป็นที่น่าสนใจว่า ขบวนการมีจำนวนสมาชิกและได้รับการสนับสนุนมากขึ้นหลังจากขบวนการยึดโยงกับขบวนการต่อต้านโรงไฟฟ้าถ่านหินในพื้นที่ใกล้เคียง ทำให้ขบวนการได้รับการสนับสนุนอย่างกว้างขวางและมีพลังในการเคลื่อนไหวมากขึ้น นอกจากนี้ ปฏิบัติการทางวาทกรรมของขบวนการมีส่วนสำคัญอย่างยิ่งในการระดมการสนับสนุน พบว่า ขบวนการใช้วาทกรรมหลัก 3 เรื่อง ได้แก่ วาทกรรมเกี่ยวกับนิคมอุตสาหกรรม วาทกรรมว่าด้วยผลกระทบทางลบของโครงการและการดำเนินงานทางลบในอดีตของบริษัทเจ้าของโครงการ และวาทกรรมที่เกี่ยวข้องกับการขาดธรรมาภิบาลในการดำเนินงานของโครงการ ในเรื่องนี้ วาทกรรมทะเลร้างถูกสร้างขึ้นเป็นเครื่องมือในการลดความชอบธรรมของรายงานการวิเคราะห์ผลกระทบสิ่งแวดล้อมของโครงการ และต่อมามีการสร้างวาทกรรมอ่าวทองคำ ซึ่งจำเป็นต้องมีการปกป้องความมั่นคงทางอาหารเพื่อช่วงชิงความหมาย ปฏิบัติการทางวาทกรรมของโครงการมีหลายรูปแบบ ได้แก่ การตีความใหม่และผลิตซ้ำความหมายใหม่ๆ เพื่อลดความชอบธรรมของวาทกรรมดั้งเดิม ปฏิบัติการเชิงสัญลักษณ์เพื่อใช้ในการสร้างสำนึกร่วมของสาธารณะ รวมไปถึงการระดมการสนับสนุนจากขบวนการต่อต้านโรงไฟฟ้าถ่านหินด้วย ผลของปฏิบัติการทางวาทกรรมดังกล่าว ไม่เพียงแต่ส่งผลต่อความสำเร็จของขบวนการในการระดมการสนับสนุนและทรัพยากรมากขึ้นเท่านั้น แต่ยังรวมถึงการยกระดับสถานะของขบวนการในฐานะผู้แต่งในสนามวาทกรรมด้วย	en_US
dc.description.abstractalternative	The thesis aims to examine the movement against the port project in Tha Sa La, Nakhon Si Thammarat both in term of its formation, and discourses and discursive practices operated by the movement. While the formation of the movement is elaborated through the concept of new social movement and resource mobilization theory, the discourses and discursive practices are analyzed through discourse analysis. The data is collected by reviewing the primary and secondary data relating to the port project, and interviewing the key informants relating to the movement. It is found that the movement started from the local intellectuals, then linked to the independent intellectual, local fishermen in the area and surrounded areas and the leader of local governments including its alliances both in the area and also from the remote areas who shared common concern on environmental and health impact of the project. Noticeably, members and the support of the movement increased after it had bound itself with the movement against the power plant project nearby, it gained broader support from the public. Apart from that, the discursive practices of the movement are essential in mobilizing the support. The thesis reveals 3 discourses utilized by the movement, which are the discourse about industrial estate, the discourse of negative impact of the project and negative profile of the owner of the project and the discourse related to the lack of governance in the project operation. In this line, the discourse of the empty sea was constructed as a means to legitimize the report on environmental impact assessment and then they constructed golden bay discourse that required protecting the food area to compete with. The discursive practices of the movement were in many forms: the re-interpretation and reproduction of new meaning in order to delegitimize the older discourse; the symbolic action to mobilize share conscious of the public and the articulation of support from anti-coal power plant movement. The impact of its discursive action is not only the success of the movement in mobilizing more support and resources, but also in term of upgrading status of the movement of the author in the discursive field.	en_US
