| Abstract: | วัตถุประสงค์ของการวิจัย มี 2 ประการคือ 1) เพื่อศึกษาความต้องการข้อสนเทศ เพื่อใช้ในการสอนของอาจารย์โรงเรียน เตรียมทหาร 2) หาแนวทางพัฒนาและปรับปรุงทรัพยากรห้องสมุดโรงเรียน เตรียมทหารให้ตรงตามความต้องการของอาจารย์ สมมติฐานในการวิจัยมีดังนี้ คือ อาจารย์โรงเรียนเตรียมทหารที่อยู่ในกองวิชา, กลุ่มวิชา, เพศ และมีประสบการณ์การสอนต่างกัน มีความต้องการรูปแบบข้อสนเทศแตกต่างกัน การวิจัยนี้ เป็นการวิจัยเชิงสำรวจ โดยใช้แบบสอบถาม เป็นเครื่องมือในการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูล จากอาจารย์จำนวนทั้งสิ้น 122 คน แบบสอบถามได้รับกลับคืนมา 122 ชุด คิดเป็น 100 เปอร์เซ็นต์ การวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลจากแบบสอบถาม ใช้สถิติค่าร้อยละ มัชฌิมา เลขคณิต ส่วนเบี่ยงเบน มาตรฐาน t-test และ F-test กำหนดระดับความมีนัยสำคัญที่ .05 โดยการใช้ โปรแกรมสำเร็จรูปสถิติทางสังคมศาสตร์ ผลจากการวิจัยสรุปได้ว่า 1) อาจารย์ต้องการข้อสนเทศ เพื่อใช้ในการบรรยาย มากที่สุด 2) อาจารย์มีความต้องการ วารสาร มากที่สุด และต้องการโสตทัศนวัสดุอุปกรณ์ น้อยที่สุด 3) อาจารย์มีความต้องการภาษาของข้อสนเทศที่เป็นภาษาไทย มากที่สุด ทุกรูปแบบ 4) ในการทดสอบสมมติฐาน ปรากฏว่า อาจารย์ที่สอนในกองวิชาต่างกัน มีความต้องการ หนังสือ หนังสือพิมพ์ และโสตทัศนวัสดุอุปกรณ์ แตกต่างกัน ส่วนนี้สอดคล้องกับสมมติฐานแต่ต้องการ หนังสืออ้างอิง คู่มือช่วยค้น วารสาร จุลสาร และกฤตภาค ไม่แตกต่างกัน ส่วนนี้ ไม่สอดคล้องกับสมมติฐาน 5) อาจารย์ที่อยู่ในกลุ่มวิชาต่างกัน มีความต้องการหนังสือ แตกต่างกัน ข้อค้นพบนี้ สอดคล้องกับสมมติฐาน และต้องการหนังสืออ้างอิง คู่มือช่วยค้น วารสาร หนังสือพิมพ์ จุลสาร กฤตภาค และโสตทัศน์วัสดุอุปกรณ์ ไม่แตกต่างกัน ผลการศึกษานี้ไม่สอดคล้องกับสมมติฐาน 6) อาจารย์ที่มีประสบการณ์การสอนต่างกัน มีความต้องการข้อสนเทศ ทุกรูปแบบไม่แตกต่างกัน ข้อค้นพบนี้ไม่สอดคล้องกับสมมติฐาน 7) อาจารย์ชายและอาจารย์ หญิงมีความต้องการ หนังสือ หนังสืออ้างอิง คู่มือช่วยค้น และจุลสาร แตกต่างกัน ผลการศึกษา นี้สอดคล้องกับสมมติฐาน แต่ต้องการวารสาร หนังสือพิมพ์ กฤตภาค และโสตทัศนวัสดุอุปกรณ์ ไม่แตกต่างกัน ผลการศึกษานี้ไม่สอดคล้องกับสมมติฐาน8) อาจารย์ชอบใช้แหล่งข้อสนเทศ จากทรัพยากรส่วนตัว, การสนทนากับเพื่อนร่วมงาน, จากประสบการณ์ของตนเอง มากกว่า ใช่แหล่งข้อสนเทศที่เป็นห้องสมุด หรือศูนย์เอกสาร |
| Other Abstract: | This research has two objectives: 1) to study the information needs for teaching purposes of instructors at the Royal Thai Armed Forces Preparatory Academy, 2) to find means of developing and improving the Academy's library resources, enabling it to satisfy the information needs of its instructors. The hypothesis of this research is that instructors in different subject divisions, of different subject groups, of different sex and experience need different formats of information. A survey research was employed in this study, using a questionnaire to collect data from 122 instructors. One hundred and twenty-two questionaires were returned, resulting in 100 percent of the necessary data collected. Data analysis was made by the use of percentage, arithmetic mean, standard deviation, t-test and F-rtest. Significant difference appeared at the level of p < 0.05. A computer program on SPSS- Statistical Package for the Social Sciences was employed. Results from this study indicate that 1) The instructors need information primarily for their lectures. 2) The instructors mostly need periodicals, but need audio visual aids least of all. 3) The instructors most of all need all formats of information in Thai. 4)In testing the hypotheses, instructors in different subject divisions were found to require different formats of books, newspapers and audio visual aids. However, they did not need different formats of reference books, manuals, periodicals, pamphlets and clippings. The former finding supports the hypothesis; the latter rejects it. 5) Instructors in different subject groups also need different formats of books, as predicted, but they do not need different formats of reference books, manuals, periodicals, newspapers, pamphletes, clippings or audio visual aids. 6) Instructors with different experience do not need different formats of information, which is contrary to the research hypothesis. 7) Male and female instructors need different formats of books, reference books, manuals and pamphlets as predicted by the hypothesis, but they do not need different formats of periodicals, newspapers, clippings or audio visual aids. The latter finding does not coincide with the hypothesis. 8) The instructors prefer to use information from their own resources, from their friends, or from their own experience rather than going to libraries or information centers. |
