| Abstract: | การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ เพื่อศึกษาการสอนการใช้ห้องสมุดในสถาบันอุดมศึกษาเอกชน จำนวน 12 แห่ง ในด้านวัตถุประสงค์ เนื้อหา วิธีสอน และปัญหาการสอนแบบใช้ห้องสมุด กับเพื่อประเมินการสอนการใช้ห้องสมุดจากทั้งผู้สอนและผู้เรียน วิธีรวบรวมข้อมูลใช้แจกแบบสอบถามให้กับผู้สอนการใช้ห้องสมุดจำนวน 54 ชุด และนักศึกษาชั้นปีที่ 2 จำนวน 437 ชุด ผลการวิจัยพบว่า การสอนการใช้ห้องสมุดในสถาบันอุดมศึกษาเอกชนจำนวน 12 แห่ง ใช้วิธีจัดสอนเป็นรายวิชาในหลักสูตร สอนเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของวิชาใดวิชาหนึ่ง และวิธีปฐมนิเทศห้องสมุด วัตถุประสงค์ในการปฐมนิเทศห้องสมุดพบว่า ทั้งผู้สอนและนักศึกษาเห็นสอดคล้องกันว่า มีวัตถุประสงค์ เพื่อให้รู้จักทรัพยากรประเภทต่างๆ ที่มีอยู่ในห้องสมุดมากที่สุด เนื้อหาในการปฐมนิเทศห้องสมุดพบว่า เนื้อหาที่ผู้สอนเน้นความสำคัญในระดับมาก ได้แก่ ทรัพยากรห้องสมุด บริการของห้องสมุด บัตรรายการและวิธีใช้บัตรรายการ ระเบียบข้อบังคับของห้องสมุด และมารยาทในการเข้าใช้ห้องสมุด ในขณะที่นักศึกษาเห็นว่า ควรเน้นความสำคัญในเรื่อง บริการของห้องสมุด บัตรรายการและวิธีใช้บัตรรายการ ในการสอนการใช้ห้องสมุดพบว่า ผู้สอนมีวัตถุประสงค์ เพื่อให้สามารถเขียนรายงานทางวิชาการและเพื่อให้สามารถใช้ห้องสมุดได้ด้วยตนเองมากที่สุด ในขณะที่นักศึกษามีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อให้รู้จักบัตรรายการและวิธีใช้บัตรรายการมากที่สุด เนื้อหาในการสอนการใช้ห้องสมุดพบว่า เนื้อหาที่ผู้สอนเน้นความสำคัญในระดับมาก ได้แก่ ทรัพยากรห้องสมุด การจัดหมวดหมู่ทรัพยากรและการจัดเก็บ บัตรรายการ หนังสืออ้างอิงและวิธีใช้หนังสืออ้างอิง การเขียนรายงานทางวิชาการ การเขียนบรรณานุกรมและเชิงอรรถ ในขณะที่นักศึกษาเห็นว่าควรเน้นความสำคัญของเนื้อหาในเรื่อง บริการของห้องสมุด และการเขียนรายงานทางวิชาการ ปัญหาในการสอนการใช้ห้องสมุดพบว่า ผู้สอนและนักศึกษาประสบปัญหาในด้าน เนื้อหามากเกินไป ขาดอุปกรณ์การสอน บุคลากรมีจำนวนน้อย และเวลามีน้อยเกินไป |
| Other Abstract: | The objectives of this research are to study the Library Use Instruction in 12 Private Higher Education Institutions according to course objectives, course contents, teaching methods, problems in teaching this subject, and evaluate Library Use Instruction from both instructors and student. The data are collected questionnaires to 54 instructors and 437 students. The research results show that Library Use Instruction in 12 Private Higher Education Institutions is a course or part of one course in the curriculum and library orientation. The library orientation are mostly corresponded by both instructors and students that their objectives are mostly concerned about getting to know library resources. The content of the library orientation is emphasized in library resources, library services, card catalog and their uses, library rules and ethics, while students needs are about library services, and card catalog. The objectives of library instruction are to teach students in preparing their technical academic reports and using library effectively, while most of students’ expectation is on the use of card catalog. The content of library instruction are mostly concentrated on library resources, classification and shelf arrangement, card catalog, the use of reference books, report writing, bibliography compilation, while students needs are on library services and report writing. The problems in teaching described by both population groups are exhaustive content with shortage of teaching materials, staff, and time. |
