| Abstract: | ศึกษาอัตลักษณ์ทางวัฒนธรรมของเวียดนาม ผ่านการศึกษาเปรียบเทียบนิทานชุดจ่าง กวิ่ง กับนิทานตลกเจ้าปัญญาในภูมิภาคเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ และวิเคราะห์ลักษณะสากลของนิทานตลกเจ้าปัญญา ผลการศึกษาวิจัยพบว่า อัตลักษณ์ทางวัฒนธรรมของเวียดนาม ที่ปรากฏผ่านนิทานชุดจ่าง กวิ่ง สะท้อนสภาพสังคมเวียดนามในยุคคริสต์ศตวรรษที่ 18 ซึ่งเป็นสังคมที่มีความแตกต่างทางชนชั้น มีศาสนาและความเชื่อที่หลากหลาย ให้คุณค่ากับการศึกษา ให้ความสำคัญกับที่ดิน และเป็นสังคมที่ปฏิเสธความเป็นจีน อีกทั้งยังเป็นยุคสมัยที่ปัญญาชนเวียดนามให้ความสนใจกับการใช้ภาษาเวียดนามแทนภาษาจีน ด้วยเห็นว่าภาษาเป็นเป็นอัตลักษณ์ที่สำคัญประการหนึ่ง นิทานชุดจ่าง กวิ่ง มีลักษณะร่วมกันหลายประการกับนิทานตลกเจ้าปัญญาในภูมิภาคเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งในประเด็นเรื่องภูมิหลังที่มาของตัวละครเอก ความขัดแย้งของคู่ตรงข้ามและมุขตลก การศึกษาแบบเรื่องและอนุภาคของนิทานแสดงให้เห็นว่า นิทานตลกเจ้าปัญญาชุดจ่าง กวิ่ง มีลักษณะเป็นสากล หากแต่ในขณะเดียวกัน นิทานชุดจ่าง กวิ่ง ยังได้แสดงลักษณะเฉพาะของชาวเวียดนาม เช่น วิธีการเลื่อนสถานะของตัวเอก บทบาทของกษัตริย์ และอิทธิพลของศาสนาในชีวิตประจำวัน ในบริบทของสังคมเวียดนาม นิทานชุดจ่าง กวิ่ง ยังคงมีสืบเนื่องมาจนปัจจุบัน ทั้งการพิมพ์นิทานในรูปแบบของการ์ตูน สำนวนภาษาที่ใช้ในชีวิตประจำวัน ตลอดจนเทศกาลจ่าง กวิ่ง ณ หมู่บ้านหว่าง หวา จังหวัด แทง หวา |
| Other Abstract: | This dissertation studies Vietnamese cultural identity through a comparative study of Trang Quynh with other trickster tales in South East Asia, and to analyze Trang Quynh’s universal characteristics of trickster tales. The research findings reveal that Vietnamese cultural identity shown in the trickster tales of Trang Quynh reflect Vietnamese society in the 18th century. This is the society with different social classes and various religions and beliefs. In this period, education and land ownership were highly valued, and the attempt to “De-Chinese” was widely excercized by Vietnamese people. Also, Vietnamese intellectuals paid a great attention to using Vietnamese instead of Chinese. This is because they regarded language as Vietnam’s main identity, The trickster tales of Trang Quynh shares similarities with other trickster tales in South East Asia, especially in terms of the background of main characters, the conflict between protagonists and antagonists, and jokes. The study of tale types and motif of folklore also shows that the story of Trang Quynh contains universal characteristics. Meanwhile, the story of Trang Quynh also presents some aspects of Vietnamese identity such as the way that people could gain a higher status in society, the role of the king and the influences of religions in everyday life. In Vietnamese context, the story of Trang Quynh continues to be told up to the present day. It is still found and seen in the forms of cartoon books, idioms used in everyday life and also through the Trang Quynh festival at Hoang Hoa, Thanh Hoa province. |
