| dc.description.abstract | การแสดงทอล์คโชว์ในลักษณะเดี่ยวไมโครโฟนของอุดม แต้พานิช ถือเป็นการแสดงที่ประสบความสำเร็จอย่างสูงและมีผู้ชมให้ความสนใจและรับชมมากที่สุดในปัจจุบัน แม้จะมีงานวิจัยที่ใช้ข้อมูลเดี่ยวไมโครโฟนของอุดม แต้พานิช มาใช้ศึกษาอยู่บ้าง แต่ก็ยังไม่เคยมีงานวิจัยใดที่ศึกษาถ้อยคำนัยผกผันซึ่งเป็นกลวิธีทางภาษาที่โดดเด่นในการแสดงของอุดม วิทยานิพนธ์ฉบับนี้จึงมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาวิเคราะห์ลักษณะของถ้อยคำนัยผกผัน อวัจนภาษาที่ประกอบถ้อยคำนัยผกผัน และหน้าที่ของถ้อยคำนัยผกผันที่ปรากฏในการแสดงเดี่ยวไมโครโฟนของอุดม แต้พานิช ข้อมูลที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ได้มาจากดีวีดีบันทึกการแสดงสดเดี่ยวไมโครโฟนของอุดม แต้พานิช จำนวน 6 ครั้ง คือ เดี่ยว 7 เดี่ยว 7.5 เดี่ยว 8 เดี่ยว 9 เดี่ยว 9.5 และเดี่ยว 10 ผลการวิจัยพบว่า อุดม แต้พานิช ใช้ถ้อยคำนัยผกผันในการแสดงจำนวนทั้งสิ้น 272 ถ้อยคำ จัดเป็น 15 ลักษณะ ทั้งนี้ผู้วิจัยแบ่งการวิเคราะห์ออกเป็น 2 มุมมอง ได้แก่ ชนิดของถ้อยคำนัยผกผันที่พิจารณาตามลักษณะ และชนิดของถ้อยคำนัยผกผันที่พิจารณาตามมุมมองวัจนกรรม ชนิดของถ้อยคำนัยผกผันที่พิจารณาตามลักษณะแบ่งได้เป็น 4 ลักษณะ ได้แก่ การกล่าวถ้อยคำที่มีความหมายขัดแย้งกับถ้อยคำใกล้เคียง การกล่าวถึงสิ่งที่เป็นไปไม่ได้หรือไม่สมเหตุสมผล การกล่าวเน้นให้เกินจริงอย่างมาก และการใช้ถ้อยคำนัยผกผันแบบเสียงสะท้อนกลับ ซึ่งลักษณะที่พบมากที่สุดคือ การกล่าวถึงสิ่งที่เป็นไปไม่ได้หรือไม่สมเหตุสมผล ชนิดของถ้อยคำนัยผกผันที่พิจารณาตามมุมมองวัจนกรรมพบว่าอุดมจงใจละเมิดเงื่อนไขความจริงใจของวัจนกรรมต่างๆ เพื่อแนะความหมายนัยผกผัน พบทั้งสิ้น 11 วัจนกรรม ลักษณะของถ้อยคำนัยผกผันที่อุดมใช้มากที่สุดคือ ถ้อยคำนัยผกผันในรูปวัจนกรรมการถาม ผลการศึกษาอวัจนภาษาที่ประกอบถ้อยคำนัยผกผันพบว่า อุดมใช้อวัจนภาษาเพื่อช่วยสื่อถ้อยคำนัยผกผันจำนวน 311 ครั้ง อวัจนภาษาเหล่านี้มีบทบาทหน้าที่คือ 1. ทำให้เห็นความขัดแย้งกับวัจนกรรมหรือปริบท 2. เน้นถ้อยคำนัยผกผันให้เด่นชัดขึ้นกว่าถ้อยคำแวดล้อมเพื่อดึงดูดความสนใจจากผู้ชม และ3. สื่ออารมณ์ความรู้สึกและทัศนคติในด้านลบ ผลการศึกษาหน้าที่ของถ้อยคำนัยผกผันพบว่า อุดม แต้พานิช ใช้ถ้อยคำนัยผกผันเพื่อวัตถุประสงค์คือ ประชดประชัน สร้างอารมณ์ขัน และลดความเครียดหรือระบายความคับข้องใจ ถ้อยคำนัยผกผันที่อุดมเลือกมาใช้นั้นเป็นกลวิธีสำคัญที่ทำให้อุดมประสบความสำเร็จในการแสดงเดี่ยวไมโครโฟนและตอบโจทย์ของการแสดงเดี่ยวไมโครโฟน ที่สามารถประชดประชันเป้าหมายและเรื่องราวต่างๆ ในสังคมไปพร้อมๆ กับการสร้างเสียงหัวเราะให้กับผู้ชมได้อย่างลงตัว ทำให้ความตลกที่อุดมสร้างแตกต่างไปจากความตลกของการแสดงในรูปแบบอื่น | - |
| dc.description.abstractalternative | The talk show hosted by Udom Taepanich is considered as a highly successful stand-up comedy show that has received the most attention from the audience as of present. Although some researchers had integrated Udom Taepanich’s talk show in their researches, none of these studies emphasized on examining the use of verbal irony, which was a notable linguistic strategy employed by Udom Taepanich. Accordingly, this research had the objectives to analyze the characteristics of verbal irony, as well as the non-verbal composition of verbal irony and functions of verbal irony as reflected in Udom Taepanich’s stand-up comedy show. The data were elicited from Udom Taepanich’s stand-up comedy show DVDs, comprising of 6 episodes: 7, 7.5, 8, 9, 9.5, and 10. The results indicated that Udom Taepanich used verbal irony in his shows for a total of 272 times, which can be categorized into 15 characteristics. The data were analyzed from two perspectives in terms of characteristics and speech act. The types of verbal irony that were analyzed according to the characteristics can be further divided into 4 categories, consisting of: contradictory adjacent expressions, irrational expressions, over exaggerate expressions, and echoic irony. The characteristic that was most frequently used by Udom was the irrational expressions. Alternatively, upon analyzing the type of verbal irony in terms of speech act, it was found that Udom intentionally violated the sincerity condition of a total of 11 speech acts in order to convey irony. The type of verbal irony that was most common was the ironic speech act of asking. Upon the study of non-verbal composition in verbal irony, it was evident that Udom used non-verbal language for a total of 311 times in his shows in order to convey irony. These non-verbal languages play various important roles, which include: 1) to enable the audience to see the conflict with speech act or co-text; 2) to emphasize verbal irony and make it more conspicuous than other co-texts in order to gain attention from the audience; and 3) to express negative emotions and attitudes. In addition, according to the study of the functions of verbal irony, the results illustrated that Udom’s use of verbal irony had the primary objectives to create sarcasm and humor, while reduce stress and relieve frustrations. The verbal irony that he had chosen was a prominent linguistic strategy that made him successful in his stand-up comedy show. In addition, his adopted strategy fulfilled the elements of a stand-up comedy in terms of expressing sarcasm on various social and political issues, while making the audience laugh at the same time. Thus, it is apparent that Udom’s stand-up comedy show was able to invoke a unique sense of humor that differs from other comedy shows. | - |
