dc.description.abstract	ศึกษาองค์ประกอบป้ายสัญลักษณ์ของ กทม. ศึกษาหาความสัมพันธ์ของป้ายสัญลักษณ์ของ กทม. กับป้ายสัญลักษณ์ของต่างประเทศ ศึกษาหาแนวทางการใช้งานป้ายสัญลักษณ์ กทม. เพื่อให้ใช้งานร่วมกับป้ายอื่นๆ และสภาพแวดล้อมของ กทม. อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ และศึกษาหามาตรฐานและรูปแบบการออกแบบ เพื่อเป็นคู่มือแนวทางการออกแบบมาตรฐานสำหรับ กทม. จากการรวบรวมข้อมูลป้ายสัญลักษณ์ กทม. ปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อพัฒนาการของป้ายสัญลักษณ์ กทม. สมัยแรกๆ คือ 1) การเติบโตของเมืองหลวง 2) ความจำเป็น 3) รูปแบบจากตะวันตก และปัจจัยหลักในปัจจุบันคือต้องการให้มีเอกลักษณ์ ป้ายสัญลักษณ์ กทม. ทั้งหมดมี 5 หมวด 1) บอกทิศทาง 2) บอกกล่าว 3) แบ่งเขต 4) บอกสถานที่โบราณ 5) เตือน ตามการจัดเพื่อการใช้งาน แต่สำหรับการศึกษาวิเคราะห์ ผู้วิจัยได้กำหนดให้เหลือเพียง 4 หมวด เพื่อให้เข้ากับเกณฑ์มาตรฐานของต่างประเทศ ดังนี้ 1) ชี้ทาง 2) แนะนำสถานที่ 3) บอกข่าวสาร 4) เตือน การเลือกตัวอย่าง งานตามการแบ่งทั้ง 4 หมวดดังกล่าว ได้อาศัยคุณประวิทย์ มหาครุฑ ผู้เชี่ยวชาญการออกแบบของ กทม. เป็นผู้เลือกแบบ เกณฑ์ที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ป้ายสัญลักษณ์ของต่างประเทศ เพื่อนำผลที่ได้ไปวิเคราะห์ป้ายสัญลักษณ์ของ กทม. ได้แนวทางแก้ไขดังนี้ ป้ายชี้ทางควรเป็นป้ายรูปร่างสี่เหลี่ยมผืนผ้าแนวนอน มีมุมตัดมน ใช้พื้นป้ายสีเข้ม ตัวอักษรและสัญลักษณ์กลับค่า ควรใช้มากที่สุดไม่เกิน 4 ข้อความ ป้ายแนะนำสถานที่ควรเป็นรูปร่างสี่เหลี่ยมผืนผ้าแนวนอน ใช้พื้นป้ายสีเข้ม ตัวอักษรและสัญลักษณ์กลับค่า ควรใช้เพียง 1 ข้อความ ป้ายเตือนควรใช้รูปร่างสี่เหลี่ยมผืนผ้าแนวตั้ง มุมตัดมน ใช้พื้นป้ายสีเข้ม ตัวอักษรและสัญลักษณ์กลับค่า ควรใช้มากที่สุด 1 ข้อความ และได้นำผลที่ได้ไปออกแบบหนังสือคู่มือ แนวทางการออกแบบป้ายสัญลักษณ์มาตรฐานสำหรับ กทม. โดยประกอบไปด้วย ประวัติพัฒนาการ การวิเคราะห์ และแนวทางการออกแบบ	en
dc.description.abstractalternative	To study Bangkok Metropolitan Administration signage design elements, to relate the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration signage system, to generate design concepts for the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration signage in order to effectively use with other existing signage and Bangkok Metropolitan Administration environment and to design Bangkok Metropolitan Administration signage design manual. From Bangkok Metropolitan Administration signage data collected. factors that effected the development of early days Bangkok Metropolitan Administration signage were (1) growth of capital, (2) necessities, (3) western designs while the major factor of today is unity. While the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration signage is classified into 5 categories: (1) direction, (2) information, (3) zoning, (4) ancient site and (5) warning. This author eliminated zoning from this study. Signage samples from those categories were selected by the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration signage design expert and international signage design criterion were used to analyze and evaluate those samples selected. The conclusions indicated that signage should be rectangular with round corner shape, dark color background with reverse color in letters and symbols used. While directional signage should use not more than 4 statements, signage for introduction ot place category and earning category shoul use only one statement. Finally, these conclusions were use in designing the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration signage design manual.	en
