| Abstract: | การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อเปรียบเทียบความสามารถในการควบคุมความคลาดเคลื่อนประเภทที่ 1 ของวิธีเปรียบเทียบพหุคูณ 3 วิธีคือ สถิติบอนเฟอโรนีที ไคสแควร์ของมาร์ซูโล และวิธีของทัมฮานน์ โดยศึกษาเฉพาะการเปรียบเทียบรายคู่ เมื่อกลุ่มตัวอย่างมาจากประชากรที่แจกแจงแบบปกติ และกำหนดขนาดความแปรปรวนของประชากรทั้งที่เท่ากันและแตกต่างกัน ศึกษากลุ่มตัวอย่าง 3, 4 และ 5 กลุ่ม โดยที่กลุ่มตัวอย่างทุกกลุ่มมีขนาดเท่ากันคือ ขนาด 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 และ 30 ทำการทดลองด้วยเทคนิคมอนติคาร์โลซีมูเลชั่น โดยจำลองการทดลองด้วยคอมพิวเตอร์ในการคำนวณหาอัตราความคลาดเคลื่อนประเภทที่ 1 ของวิธีเปรียบเทียบพหุคูณทั้ง 3 วิธี ผลการวิจัยสรุปได้ดังนี้ 1. วิธีของทัมฮานน์ เมื่อใช้กับการเปรียบเทียบรายคู่ทุกคู่ มีความสามารถในการควบคุมความคลาดเคลื่อนประเภทที่ 1 ได้มากกว่า สถิติบอนเฟอโรนีที และโคสแควร์ของมาร์ซูโล ทั้งสภาพการณ์ที่ความแปรปรวนของประชากรเท่ากันและแตกต่างกัน 2. เมื่อเปรียบเทียบเฉพาะรายคู่ทุกคู่ อัตราความคลาดเคลื่อนประเภทที่ 2 ของสถิติบอนเฟอโรนีทีจะเบี่ยงเบนในทิศทางที่น้อยกว่าอัตราความคลาดเคลื่อนที่ระบุสำรหับกรณีที่ความแปรปรวนของประชากรเท่ากัน และเมื่อความแปรปรวนของประชากรแตกต่างกันอัตราความคลาดเคลื่อนประเภทที่ 1 จะมากกว่าอัตราความคลาดเคลื่อนที่ระบุ 3. อัตราความคลาดเคลื่อนประเภทที่ 1 ของวิธีทดสอบแบบไคสแควร์ของมาร์ชูโล เมื่อทดสอบเฉพาะการเปรียบเทียบรายคู่ขึ้นอยู่กับขนาดกลุ่มตัวอย่างและจำนวนกลุ่มตัวอย่าง ถ้ากลุ่มตัวอย่างมีขนาดเล็กอัตราความคลาดเคลื่อนประเภทที่ 1 จะสูงกว่าอัตราความคลาดเคลื่อนที่ระบุมาก เมื่อกลุ่มตัวอย่างมีขนาดเพิ่มขึ้นอัตราความคลาดเคลื่อนประเภทที่ 1 จะมีแนวโน้มลดลง และเมื่อเพิ่มจำนวนกลุ่มตัวอย่างมากขึ้นอัตราความคลาดเคลื่อน ประเภทที่ 1 จะมีแนวโน้มลดต่ำลงด้วย เมื่อต้องเปรียบเทียบพหุคูณเฉพาะรายคู่ สำหรับกลุ่มตัวอย่างที่มีขนาดเท่ากันทุกกลุ่มและการแจกแจงของประชากรเป็นแบบปกติทุกประชากร ผู้วิจัยเสนอแนะให้ใช้วิธีของทัมฮานน์ |
| Other Abstract: | The purpose of this study was to compare the ability to control Type I error of three multiple comparison methods : Bonferroni t statistic, Marasuilo’s X² , and Tamhane procedure, This study was designed especially for pairwise comparison when several samples drawn from normal distributed populations with equal variances for some sets of study and unequal variances for other sets. The comparisons were conducted with 3, 4 and 5 equal-size samples : 5, 10, 15, 20, 20, 25 and 30 by means of Monte Carlo Simulation Technique. A computer was programmed to calculate Type I error of the comparison methods. The findings are summarized as follows: 1. Tamhane procedure can control Type I error much better than Bonferroni t statistic and Marascuilo’s X² in the condition of equal and unequal population variances. 2. Bonferroni t statistic is conservative for controlling of Type I error when population variances are equal and employ to analyse through pairwise comparisons. But it’s actual Type I error are greater than the nominated α when the population variances are unequal. 3. The ability to control Type I error of Marascuilo’s X² depends on sample size and the number of samples. It is found that when increasing sample size the actual Type I error is decreased and when the number of samples are increased the Type I error is also decreased. Tamhane procedure is recommended for the design of all pairwise analysis. It can control Type I error as nominated for sample size drawn from nomally distributed populations. |
