dc.description.abstractส่วนต่างๆของกระดูกโครงสร้างและเนื้อเยื่ออ่อนภายในกะโหลกศีรษะและใบหน้ามีความแตกต่างของการเจริญเติบโต ทำให้มีอิทธิพลต่อรูปร่างของใบหน้า จุดประสงค์ของการวิจัยครั้งนี้ เพื่อศึกษาความสัมพันธ์ของลักษณะจมูกและลักษณะกระดูกโครงสร้างของคนไทย รวมทั้งความสัมพันธ์ของลักษณะจมูกกับอายุ โดยจำแนกตามเพศ ความรู้ที่ได้จากการวิจัยนี้จะนำมาใช้ประโยชน์เพื่อการวินิจฉัยและวางแผนบำบัดรักษาทางทันตกรรมจัดฟัน ตลอดจนเป็นพื้นฐานสำหรับการวิจัยครั้งต่อๆไป ภาพรังสีกะโหลกศีรษะด้านข้างซึ่งใช้ในการศึกษานี้ ได้จากภาควิชาทันตกรรมจัดฟัน คณะทันตแพทยศาสตร์ จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย กลุ่มตัวอย่าง 400 คน (เพศชาย 200 คน และเพศหญิง 200 คน) ได้จากการสุ่มตัวอย่างแบบเฉพาะเจาะจงจากคนไทย อายุ 10-20 ปี คุณสมบัติของกลุ่มตัวอย่าง คือ มีสุขภาพแข็งแรง และไม่เคยได้รับการรักษาทางทันตก-รรมจัดฟัน จากภาพรังสีกะโหลกศีรษะด้านข้างนำมาศึกษาลักษณะเนื้อเยื่ออ่อนของจมูกและลักษณะกระดูกโครงสร้าง พบว่า ลักษณะจมูกและลักษณะกระดูกโครงสร้างมีสหสัมพันธ์ทางสถิติที่ระดับนัยสำคัญ 0.001 นอกจากนี้ยังพบว่าลักษณะจมูกมีสหสัมพันธ์ทางสถิติกับอายุโดยจำแนกตามเพศที่ระดับนัยสำคัญ 0.001ด้วยen_US
dc.description.abstractalternativeThe differential growth of skeletal and soft tissue components within the craniofacial complex has an influence on facial appearance. The purpose of this thesis was designed to investigate not only the relationship between nasal form and skeletal pattern in Thai population but also nasal form and age among sex. The knowledge from this research would be benefit for orthodontic diagnosis and treatment planning and also provides basis for further researches. The lateral cephalometric radiographs used in this study were obtained from the department of orthodontics, faculty of dentistry, Chulalongkorn University. The 400 samplings (200 males and 200 females) were selected purposively from Thai populations between the ages of 10 to 20. The criteria of samples were healthy and untreated orthodontics. The soft tissue nasal form and its skeletal pattern were studied from the lateral cephalometry. There was statistical correlation between nasal form and skeletal pattern at 0.001 level. Moreover, there was statistical correlation between nasal form and age among sex at 0.001 level.en_US
