| Abstract: | วัตถุประสงค์ของวิทยานิพนธ์ฉบับนี้เป็นการประเมินผลตอบแทนจากการลงทุนโครงการก่อสร้างโรงไฟฟ้าพลังไอน้ำของการไฟฟ้าฝ่ายผลิตแห่งประเทศไทย : โครงการแม่เมาะ หน่วยที่ 1 ถึงหน่วยที่ 7 ข้อมูลรายได้ ต้นทุนการผลิต และต้นทุนการก่อสร้างที่เกิดขึ้นจริงตั้งแต่ปี 2515-2532 นำมาวิเคราะห์ปรับระดับราคาตามดัชนีราคาปี 2529 และพยากรณ์กระแสเงินสดสุทธิจากการลงทุนตามอายุใช้งานตามเศรษฐกิจของโครงการฯ คือ ประมาณ 25 ปี เพื่อวิเคราะห์อัตราผลตอบแทนที่แท้จริงต่อปี ผลของการศึกษาพบว่า (1) อัตราผลตอบแทนจากการลงทุนโดยเฉลี่ยต่อปีจากการลงทุนโครงการก่อสร้างโรงไฟฟ้าพลังไอน้ำแม่เมาะ หน่วยที่ 1 ถึง 7 คิดเป็น 10.11% ต่อปี ซึ่งวิธีนี้ไม่คำนึงค่าของเงินตามเวลา (2) อัตราผลตอบแทนที่แท้จริงจากการลงทุนโครงการก่อสร้างโรงไฟฟ้าพลังไอน้ำแม่เมาะ หน่วยที่ 1 ถึง 7 คิดเป็น 18.82% สูงกว่าที่เคยประเมินไว้เดิม คือ 12% (3) ดัชนีกำไรของโครงการก่อสร้างโรงไฟฟ้าพลังไอน้ำแม่เมาะ หน่วยที่ 1 ถึง 7 มีค่าเท่ากับ 1.50 แสดงว่าค่าปัจจุบันของกระแสเงินสดรับเท่ากับ 1.50 เท่าของค่าปัจจุบันของกระแสเงินสดจ่าย |
| Other Abstract: | The objective of the study is tot evaluate the return on investment of the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand : Mae Moh Thermal Plant Project (Unit 1-7). The actual 1972-89 data related to the revenue, the production costs and the construction costs were accumulated and adjusted to the 1986 purchasing power. The project cash flows were predicted for its economic life, i.e., 25 years. Finally, the internal rate of return on investment of the Mae Moh Thermal Plant Project (Unit 1-7) was analyzed. The results of the study are as follows : (1) The annual return on investment of the Mae Moh Thermal Power Plant Project (Unit 1-7) was 10.11%. This method does not consider the time value of money. (2) The annual internal rate of return on investment of the Mae Moh Thermal Power Plant Project (Unit 1-7) was 18.82%, which was higher than the previously expected rate of 12%. (3) The profitability index was 1.50 times, i.e., the present value of the cash inflows being 1.50 times of present value of the cash outflows. |
