| Abstract: | เขาพลูตาหลวงอยู่ในบริเวณที่เป็นตะกอนพอกตัวรูปลิ่มอันเกิดจากการมุดตัวของแผ่นธรณีมหาสมุทร ลงไปใต้แผ่นจุลทวีปอินโดจีน โดยเป็นบริเวณที่แสดงถึงการเป็นตะกอนที่มาจากทะเล ซึ่งหินที่พบมีลักษณะเป็นชั้นหินชนวนที่ถูกเปลี่ยนลักษณะ การศึกษานี้มุ่งเน้นศึกษาลักษณะธรณีวิทยาโครงสร้างและกลไกที่ทำให้เกิดโครงสร้างทางธรณีวิทยาของเขาพลูตาหลวง ตำบลพลูตาหลวง อำเภอสัตหีบ จังหวัดชลบุรี จากการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลธรณีวิทยาโครงสร้างในระดับมัชฌิมภาคและระดับจุลภาคพบว่า โครงสร้างทางธรณีวิทยาของเขาพลูตาหลวงนั้นประกอบไปด้วยชั้นหินคดโค้ง รอยเลื่อนย้อน และแนวแตก 2 แนวที่เป็นแนวแตกร่วมที่เกิดขึ้นพร้อมกันกับชั้นหินคดโค้ง โดยระนาบชั้นหินคดโค้งนั้นวางตัวอยู่ในแนวทิศตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือ-ตะวันตกเฉียงใต้ โดยมีมุมเอียงเทไปทางทิศตะวันตกเฉียงเหนือ รอยเลื่อนย้อนนั้นวางตัวอยู่ในแนวทิศเหนือ-ใต้ มีมุมเอียงเทไปทางทิศตะวันออก ซึ่งโครงสร้างทางธรณีวิทยา ดังที่ได้กล่าวมานี้สัมพันธ์กับเหตุการณ์ตั้งแต่ช่วงที่แผ่นเปลือกโลกมหาสมุทรมุดตัวลงไปใต้แผ่นจุลทวีปอินโดจีนไปจนถึงช่วงที่แผ่นจุลทวีปสึบูมาสุเคลื่อนที่เข้ามาชนกับแผ่นจุลทวีปอินโดจีน โดยใช้เวลาตั้งแต่ช่วงปลายยุคคาร์บอนิเฟอรัสไปจนถึงต้นยุคจูแรสสิก |
| Other Abstract: | Khao Phlu Ta Luang is in area which is accretionary wedge occurred by subduction of oceanic plate beneath Indochina sub-continent. This area is the remnant of Paleotethyan rock which consists of the deformed slate. This study focused on structural geology characteristics and mechanisms that caused those structures of Khao Phlu Ta Luang, Phlu Ta Luang Sub district, Sattahip District, Chon buri province. According to field data analysis in both mesoscopic scale and microscopic scale, this study found that geological structures of Khao Phlu Ta Luang consists of fold, reverse fault and 2 joint sets. These conjugate joints conform with the fold geometry. Fold axial plane is in NE-SW and dipping to the NW. Reverse fault strikes in N-S and dipping to the E. Geological structure is related with incidents started from oceanic plate subducted beneath Indochina sub-continent until the Sibumasu sub-continent collided with Indochina sub-continent. These incidents took time from Early Carboniferous to Early Jurassic. |
