| Abstract: | การศึกษาเปรียบเทียบแนวความคิดในเรื่องตัวแบบของผู้หญิงในความสัมพันธ์เชิงอำนาจ เป็นการศึกษาที่ต้องการชี้ให้เห็นถึงความสัมพันธ์เชิงอำนาจระหว่างผู้ชายและผู้หญิง โดยศึกษาตัวแบบของนางมัทรีและนางอมิตตดาในมหาเวสสันดรชาดก และนางรูธและนางเอลเธอร์ในพระคริสตธรรมคัมภีร์ เพื่อเปรียบเทียบความสัมพันธ์เชิงอำนาจของตัวแบบผู้หญิงในมหาเวสสันดรชาดกและในพระคริสตธรรมคัมภีร์ และเพื่อชี้ให้เห็นว่าผู้หญิงนั้นมีอำนาจความงามอยู่กับตัว โดยที่ผู้ชายนั้นก็รู้ถึงการมีอยู่ของอำนาจดังกล่าวของผู้หญิง และพยายาม ที่จะไม่ให้ผู้หญิงนั้นได้ใช้อำนาจความงามต่อผู้ชาย จากการศึกษาพบว่าแนวความคิดในเรื่องความสัมพันธ์เชิงอำนาจระหว่างผู้ชายและผู้หญิง ที่ปรากฏอยู่ในมหาเวสสันดรชาดกและในพระคริสตธรรมคัมภีร์นั้น มีความสัมพันธ์เชิงอำนาจที่คล้ายคลึงกัน ความสัมพันธ์แบบแรกเป็นความสัมพันธ์ที่ผู้หญิงนั้นถูกผู้ชายกดขี่ ซึ่งเป็นความสัมพันธ์ตามแนวบรรทัดฐานของสังคมส่วนความสัมพันธ์อีกแบบเป็นความสัมพันธ์ที่ผู้หญิงสามารถใช้อำนาจความงามที่ตนมีอยู่ ในการต่อรองและควบคุมผู้ชายให้อยู่ภายใต้อำนาจของผู้หญิงไต้ |
| Other Abstract: | This is a comparative study of the role model of women in power relations with men. Masdi and Amittada in Mahavessantara-Jataka and Ruth and Ester in the Bible are taken as a case study in this thesis. Also the author intends to examine beauty as power in women themselves and men's responses to the use of beauty as power. From the research, it shows that there is no difference between a way of thinking in respect to power relations between women and men as appeared in both texts. Although women are controlled by men through social norms, however, they can use their own beauty as power to negotiate and control men. |
