| Abstract: | การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาการจัดระบบงานวารสารในหอสมุดกลาง สถาบันอุดมศึกษาของรัฐ ตลอดจนทัศนคติและปัญหาของบรรณารักษ์ต่อการจัดระบบงานวารสารในหอสมุดกลาง สถาบันอุดมศึกษาของรัฐ ในด้านรูปแบบการบริหารงานวารสาร หน่วยงานที่รับผิดชอบงานวารสารแต่ละงาน และงานวารสารที่บุคลากรรับผิดชอบ รวมทั้งข้อเสนอแนะ ผลการวิจัยพบว่า ห้องสมุดส่วนใหญ่ 17 แห่ง จากจำนวนทั้งหมด 24 แห่ง บริหารงานวารสารโดยมีฝ่าย/งานวารสารโดยเฉพาะ โดยห้องสมุด 14 แห่ง รับผิดชอบงานวารสารบางงาน และกระจายงานวารสารบางงานไปให้หน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้องรับผิดชอบ และห้องสมุด 3 แห่ง รับผิดชอบทุกงานที่เกี่ยวข้องกับงานวารสาร ส่วนห้องสมุดอีก 7 แห่ง ไม่มีฝ่าย/งานวารสารโดยเฉพาะ แต่กระจายงานวารสารไปยังหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้องตามลักษณะงาน สำหรับบุคลากรผู้รับผิดชอบงานวารสาร พบว่า ห้องสมุดที่มีฝ่าย/งานวารสารโดยเฉพาะ มีบุคลากรปฏิบัติงานวารสารเต็มเวลาทุกคน ส่วนห้องสมุดที่มอบหมายให้ฝ่าย/งานอื่นรับผิดชอบงานวารสาร มีบุคลากรปฏิบัติงานทั้งเต็มเวลาและบางเวลา สำหรับทัศนคติของบรรณารักษ์ฝ่าย/งานวารสาร และบรรณารักษ์ฝ่าย/งานอื่น รวมจำนวนทั้งสิน 107 คน ต่อการจัดระบบงานวารสาร พบว่า บรรณารักษ์มีทัศนคติในระดับเห็นด้วยว่า งานวารสารควรมีฝ่าย/งานวารสารรับผิดชอบโดยเฉพาะ ทำหน้าที่ดำเนินงานวารสารทุกขั้นตอนและทุกงาน และการที่บุคลากรในฝ่าย/งานวารสารรับผิดชอบดำเนินงานวารสารทุกงาน ทำให้บุคลากรในฝ่าย/งานรู้และเข้าใจลักษณะงานวารสารชัดเจน ปัญหาของบรรณารักษ์ต่อการจัดระบบงานวารสาร พบว่า บรรณารักษ์ประสบปัญหาการจัดระบบงานวารสารทุกด้านในระดับปานกลาง |
| Other Abstract: | The purposes of this research was to study the organization of periodicals and librarians’ attitudes toward the organization of periodicals in state academic central librarian and problems in the state academic libraries. This research had its main focus on the study of periodicals work administration, organization, personnel in charge of periodicals as well as their suggestions. This research found that 17 out of 24 libraries studied set up a periodicals department. While 14 out of the 17 were responsible for some periodicals work. In this case, some periodicals work is given to the departments concerned. 3 libraries out of 17 were responsible for all periodicals work. For the rest (7 libraries), there is no periodicals department and distribution of work was given to the departments concerned. Full-time staff work in the library when there’s a periodicals department. But in the libraries which assigned most of their work to other departments, both part-time and full-time staff are there. The following are the librarians’ attitudes toward the organization of periodicals which consists of 107 librarians from the periodicals department and other departments, it is found that librarians agree that periodicals work should be responsible by periodicals department and do every process and all work. And personnel of the periodicals department should be responsible for all periodicals process since they have knowledge and understand periodicals work very clearly. Findings show that librarians face problems of organization of periodicals at a moderate level. |
