| dc.description.abstract | การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีจุดมุ่งหมายเพื่อศึกษาความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างความหลงตนเองและความดึงดูดใจแบบโรแมนติกที่มีต่อบุคคลเป้าหมายต่างเพศ ผู้ร่วมการวิจัยเป็นนิสิตปริญญาตรีทำมาตรวัดความหลงตนเองและถูกแบ่งออกเป็น 2 กลุ่ม คือ คนที่หลงตนเองสูงและคนที่หลงตนเองต่ำ การศึกษาที่ 1 ผู้ร่วมการวิจัยประเมินความดึงดูดใจแบบโรแมนติกต่อบุคคลเป้าหมาย 4 ประการ (บุคคลที่ชื่นชมตน บุคคลที่แสดงความเอาใจใส่ บุคคลที่สมบูรณ์แบบ และบุคคลที่เรียกร้องจากผู้อื่น) การศึกษาที่ 2 ผู้ร่วมการวิจัยประเมินความดึงดูดใจแบบโรแมนติกต่อบุคคลเป้าหมาย 2 ประเภท (บุคคลที่สมบูรณ์แบบแต่ไม่แสดงความเอาใจใส่ และบุคคลที่แสดงความเอาใจใส่แต่ไม่สมบูรณ์แบบ) ผลการวิจัยพบว่า 1. คนที่หลงตนเองสูงมีความดึงดูดใจแบบโรแมนติกต่อบุคคลที่แสดงความชื่นชมตนและบุคคลที่สมบูรณ์แบบมากกว่าบุคคลที่เรียกร้องจากผู้อื่นอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ ที่ระดับ .001 นอกจากนี้ ยังพบผลที่สวนทางกับสมมติฐาน คือ คนที่หลงตนเองสูงมีความดึงดูดใจแบบโรแมนติกต่อบุคคลที่แสดงความเอาใจใส่มากกว่าบุคคลที่แสดงความชื่นชมตนและบุคคลที่สมบูรณ์แบบอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .001 และ 0.5 ตามลำดับ 2. คนที่หลงตนเองต่ำมีความดึงดูดใจแบบโรแมนติกต่อบุคคลที่แสดงความเอาใจใส่มากกว่าบุคคลที่แสดงความชื่นชมตนและบุคคลที่สมบูรณ์แบบอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ ที่ระดับ .001 นอกจากนี้ ยังพบผลที่สวนทางกับสมมติฐาน คือ คนที่หลงตนเองต่ำมีความดึงดูดใจแบบโรแมนติกต่อบุคคลที่แสดงความชื่นชมตนและบุคคลที่สมบูรณ์แบบมากกว่าบุคคลที่เรียกร้องจากผู้อื่นอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ ที่ระดับ .001 3. ทั้งคนที่หลงตนเองสูงและคนที่หลงตนเองต่ำมีความดึงดุดใจแบบโรแมนติกต่อบุคคลที่แสดงความเอาใจใส่แต่ไม่สมบูรณ์แบบมากกว่าบุคคลที่สมบูรณ์แบบแต่ไม่แสดงความเอาใจใส่อย่างมีนัยสำคัญ ที่ระดับ .001 4. ความหลงตนเองมีสหสัมพันธ์ทางบวกกับการมีความสัมพันธ์กับผู้อื่นในลักษณะพึ่งตนเองอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ ที่ระดับ .001 | en |
| dc.description.abstractalternative | The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between narcissism and romantic attraction to hypothetical targets of the opposite sex. Undergraduate students completed a measure of narcissistic personality and were divided into high and low narcissists. In Study 1, participants rated each of the four targets (admiring, caring, perfect, and needy) on the romantic attraction measure. In Study 2, participants rated each of the two targets (perfect-noncaring and caring-nonperfect). Results show that: 1. High narcissists are more attracted to admiring and perfect targets and less attracted to needy targets (p < .001); contrary to the hypothesis, they are more attracted to caring targets than admiring and perfect targets (p < .001 and p < .05). 2. Low narcissists are more attracted to caring targets and less attracted to admiring and perfect targets (p < .001); contrary to the hypothesis, they are more attracted to admiring and perfect targets than needy targets (p < .001). 3.
