| dc.description.abstractalternative | The objective of this thesis is to study the world hunger problem as a moral problem-whether the rich nations have moral abligations to help the poor nations experiencny famine. In Chapter 3, the arguments of those who hold that the rich nations have no moral obligations to help the poor nations experiencing famine are analized. Chapter contains the analysis of the arguments of those who hold that that rich nations have moral obligations to help the poor nations, i t is also shown here that both sides could not provide a sastisfactory answer to the problem. Chapter 5 intends to show that the arqument of Peter Singer could avoid crucial objections faced by both sides and could provide a more reasonable argument. | - |
