dc.description.abstractวิทยานิพนธ์ฉบับนี้ กล่าวถึงการออกแบบและสร้างโมเดม V.26 bis พร้อมซอฟต์แวร์ควบคุมการติดต่อสื่อสาร เพื่อใช้สื่อสารข้อมูลระหว่างคอมพิวเตอร์กับคอมพิวเตอร์ ผ่านข่ายสายโทรศัพท์ โดยเน้นการสื่อสารข้อมูลของคอมพิวเตอร์ส่วนบุคคลเป็นหลัก อ้างอิงตามข้อแนะนำและมาตราฐานสากลต่าง ๆ เช่น CCITT, ETA-, NBS และ ANSI โมเดม V.26 bis มีความสามารถในการใช้งานในข่ายสายโทรศัพท์ทั่วไป (GSTN) ที่อัตราการติดต่อสื่อสาร 1200 baud (1200 หรือ 2400 บิตต่อวินาที) การมอดูเลตเป็นแบบดิฟเฟอเรนท์เชียลเฟสชิฟคีย์อิง (DPSK) การออกแบบโมเดมเป็นแบบใช้ภายนอก ซึ่งอินเตอร์เฟสกับคอมพิวเตอร์ส่วนบุคคล หรืออุปกรณ์รับส่งข้อมูลปลายทางโดยผ่านทาง RS-232-C โมเดมนี้มีส่วนประกอบ 2 ส่วน ส่วนแรกได้แก่ หน่วยติดต่อสื่อสารอัตโนมัติ (ACU) ซึ่งควบคุมด้วยระบบไมโครคอมพิวเตอร์ ส่วนที่สองเป็นหน่วยมอดูเลชั่นและดีมอดูเลชั่นสัญญาณคลื่นพาห์ของสัญญาณเชิงเลข ส่วนของซอฟต์แวร์ควบคุมการติดต่อสื่อสาร ประกอบด้วย โปรแกรมสำหรับโอนย้ายแฟ้มข้อมูล, ชุดคำสั่ง, โพรโทคอลควบคุมการรับส่งข้อมูลและการติดต่อสื่อสาร ตลอดจนซอฟต์แวร์อื่น ได้แก่ โปรแกรมเก็บเบอร์โทรศัพท์, โปรแกรมแสดงแฟ้มข้อมูล, โปรแกรมแสดงรายชื่อบันทึกแฟ้มข้อมูล, โปรแกรมรักษาความปลอดภัยข้อมูลและระบบไปรษณีย์อิเล็กทรอนิกส์en_US
dc.description.abstractalternativeThis thesis presents a design and construction of V.26 bis modem with communication control software that can be used for computer to computer communications via telephone network, with emphasis on personal computer communications. Conforming to international standards such as CCITT, ETA-, NBS and ANSI, this V.26 bis modem can be used over the general switched telephone network (GSTN) and operates at 1200 buads (1200 or 2400 bps) with differential phase shift keying (DPSK) modulation. This V.26 bis modem is designed as a stand-alone device that interfaces with a personal computer or data terminal equipment (DTE) via EIA-standard RS-232-C. The modem consists of two parts. The first part is the Automatic Calling and Answering unit (ACU) which is controlled by a microcomputer system. The second part is the digital carrier modulation and demodulation unit. The communication control software consists of file transfer, command set, transmission and operation protocols, and other softwares such as telephone directory, file and disk directory, data security and electronics mail.en_US
