| Abstract: | การศึกษาและวิจัยนี้เป็นการหาปริมาณและชนิดของนอร์มัล-พาราฟินจากปิโตรเลียมที่ตก ค้างอยู่ในน้ำทะเลและตะกอนในอ่าวไทย ระหว่างเดือนพฤษภาคมถึงเดือนพฤศจิกายน 2520 จากตัวอย่างสถานีที่กำหนดไว้ในอ่าวไทยตอนบน 18 สถานี อ่าวไทยตอนล่าง 4 สถานี และ บริเวณชายฝั่งทะเลตะวันออก 3 สถานี โดยแบ่งระยะเวลาการเก็บออกเป็น 2 ระยะ คือ ต้นฤดูฝนและปลายฤดูฝน ปริมาณนอร์มัล-พาราฟินในน้ำทะเลพบว่าอยู่ในช่วง 16 – 614 ug/1 ส่วนในตะกอนอยู่ในช่วง 0.4 – 11.7 ug/g ปริมาณที่หาได้นี้ไม่มีความแตกต่างกันในตัวอย่างที่เก็บ ในฤดูกาลต่างกันยกเว้นสถานีบริเวณปากแม่น้ำจะมีความแตกต่างกันในตัวอย่างตะกอน เมื่อเปรียบเทียบปริมาณของนอร์มัล-พาราฟินที่มีในตะกอนและน้ำบริเวณอ่าวไทยตอนบนกับอ่าวไทยตอนล่าง พบว่าไม่มีความแตกต่างกันเป็นนัยสำคัญเมื่อใช้ระดับความเชื่อมั่น 95% แต่จะมีความแตกต่างกันในตัวอย่างตะกอนเมื่อใช้ระดับความเชื่อมั่น 90% ลักษณะการแพร่กระจายของปริมาณนอร์มัล-พาราฟินจะลดลงเมื่อระยะห่างจากปากแม่น้ำเพิ่มขึ้น นอกจากนี้จากตัวอย่างของตะกอนและน้ำหลายตัวอย่างพบว่านอร์มัล-พาราฟินที่จำนวนคาร์บอนอะตอมเป็นเลขคี่จะมีเป็นจำนวนมาก และปรากฎเห็นเด่นชัด |
| Other Abstract: | Petroleum-derived n-Paraffins in sea-water and Sediments in the Gulf of Thailand were studied during May and November 1977. Samplings were done at eighteen stations in the Upper Gulf, four stations in the Lower Gulf and three stations along the Eastern Coast of the Upper Gulf. In the Upper Gulf samples were collected at the beginning and towards the end of the rainy season. The concentrations of n-paraffins in sea-water ranged from 16 to 614 ug/1 while those in the sediments were in the range 0.4-11.7 ug/g. No significant difference was found for n-paraffins in the samples collected in June and September, except for the stations in the vicinity of the river mouths where these was a significant difference was found for the sediments. On comparison of the concentrations found between the Upper Gulf and the Lower Gulf, no significant difference was found at 95 % confidence level but significant difference was found in sediment samples at 90% level. The distribution pattern of n-paraffins shows a decreasing with increasing distance from the river mouths. Moreover, the n-paraffins occurring in sediment and sea-water samples exhibited some odd carbon atoms predominance. |
