| Other Abstract: | Peruses the status of science and technology in Thailand. Directs the attention to the policy guideline, measures, and operational guideline of the information work on science and technology as formulated by the Thai Government in the Fifth National Economic and Social Development Plan. The author reviews the major sources of scientific and technological information in Thailand, classifying into three main categories, namely: general science and technology, medical sciences, and agriculture. Planning of the national information system, significant information network and manpower development in the national, regional and international approaches are also discussed. |
