dc.description.abstract	บันทึกของสตรีผู้รอดชีวิตจากการล้างเผ่าพันธุ์ในยุโรประหว่างสงครามโลกครั้งที่สอง เป็นวรรณคดีในรูปแบบของเรื่องเล่าที่ถ่ายทอดเรื่องราวของผู้ที่ตกเป็นเหยื่อปฏิบัติการอันโหดเหี้ยมของนาซีตามนโยบายของฮิตเลอร์ ผู้เล่าใช้สรรพนามบุรุษที่หนึ่งบอกกล่าวความทรงจำเฉพาะตัวและประสบการณ์ร่วมของบรรดาผู้ที่มีชะตากรรมเดียวกัน โครงเรื่องของเรื่องเล่าในรูปแบบอัตชีวประวัตินี้ส่วนใหญ่จะเหมือนกันคือแบ่งได้เป็นสามช่วง ช่วงแรกตั้งแต่เปิดเรื่องเป็นการให้ภูมิหลังของตัวผู้เล่า ช่วงที่สองคือช่วงชีวิตก่อนการเข้ามารุกรานของนาซีซึ่งเป็นช่วงเวลาแห่งความสุข และช่วงที่สามคือช่วงที่ผู้เล่าเป็นเหยื่อของอคติชาติพันธุ์สูญสิ้นอิสรภาพตกเป็นเชลยของนาซี จนกระทั่งได้รับการปลดปล่อยให้กลับไปดำเนินชีวิตเยี่ยงอิสรชนอีกครั้งหนึ่ง ช่วงที่สามนี้มีเนื้อหาเป็นปริมาณถึงสองในสามของเนื้อหาทั้งหมด และทำให้ผู้อ่านได้รู้จักกับกระบวนการล้างเผ่าพันธุ์ในทุกขั้นตอนและทุกแง่มุม บันทึกความทรงจำของสตรีผู้รอดชีวิตเหล่านี้ยังได้ก่อให้เกิดคำถามเกี่ยวกับประเด็นทางจริยธรรมตามมา กล่าวคือ พวกเธอผู้ผ่านเหตุการณ์อันเลวร้ายอย่างถึงที่สุดมาแล้วยังสามารถให้อภัยฆาตกรผู้คร่าชีวิตผู้บริสุทธิ์ไปถึงหกล้านคนได้หรือไม่ ผลของการวิจัยปรากฏว่า ส่วนใหญ่มีความคิดในทำนองเดียวกันคือ ไม่สามารถลืมความอำมหิตที่พวกเธอได้เป็นพยานรู้เห็นมาแล้วได้ และพวกเธอจะถ่ายทอดเรื่องราวเหล่านี้ให้อนุชนรุ่นหลังได้รับรู้เพื่อมิให้เหตุการณ์ร้ายแรงที่สุดเหตุการณ์หนึ่งในประวัติศาสตร์ของมวลมนุษย์เกิดขึ้นได้อีก ด้วยความเข้มแข็งไม่ยอมแพ้ต่อความยุติธรรมและยืนหยัดที่จะมีชีวิตรอดจึงน่าจะกล่าวได้ว่า วรรณคดีประจักษ์พยานคือวรรณคดีที่แสดงความกล้าหาญและธาตุแท้ของมนุษยชาติ	en
dc.description.abstractalternative	Memoirs of female survivors from the holocaust are written in the form of narratives that present the victims’ accounts of the Nazi cruel persecutions under Hitler’s policy. Writing in the first-person, the authors relate both their personal memories and those experiences shared by all holocaust victims. Their autobiographical narratives are characteristically divided into three parts. The first part introduces the narrator’s background information. The second part describes their happiness before the Nazi invasion. And the third part narrates the period during which the narrators were subjected to racial prejudices, incarcerated by the Nazis and finally given their freedom. The third part covers two-thirds of the narration and presents to the readers the whole process of genocide undertaken by the Nazis. Emerging from memoirs of these female survivors is one crucial ethical question: How could these women who had undergone the traumatic experiences of the holocaust manage to forgive the Nazi murderers who had executed innocent people up to six millions? The result of this research indicates that most authors have the same opinion: they can never forget the atrocity they witnessed and intend to pass on their stories to the next generation so that history will not repeat itself. With determination not to capitulate to the injustice and to insist on survival, these authors reveal how “Literature of Witness” could be read as “Literature of Courage and Humanity.”	en
