| Abstract: | การศึกษาเรื่องเพศสัมพันธ์นอกสมรสของชายไทย เป็นการศึกษากรณีตัวอย่างชายที่มารับบริการตรวจและรักษาโรคติดต่อทางเพศสัมพันธ์ ณ โรงพยาบาลบางรัก จำนวน 84 ราย โดยการสัมภาษณ์ และการศึกษาจากการสนทนากลุ่ม จากประชากรทั้งหญิงและชายนอกโรงพยาบาลอีกจำนวน 5 กลุ่ม (หญิง 15 ราย และชาย 19 ราย) โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาทัศนคติและพฤติกรรมทางเพศของชายไทย เกี่ยวกับการมีเพศสัมพันธ์ตั้งแต่ครั้งแรก เรื่อยมาจนแต่งงานหรือมีคู่ถึงปัจจุบัน กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่สัมภาษณ์จำนวน 84 ราย มีอายุเฉลี่ย 33.8 ปี ปัจจุบันอาศัยอยู่ในกรุงเทพมหานคร จบการศึกษาระดับประถมศึกษาและมัธยมศึกษา สมรสแล้ว 66% เชื่อว่าสตรีไทยควรจะรักษาพรหมจรรย์ไว้ แต่อีกจำนวน 39% คิดว่าไม่จำเป็นนัก ความคิดเรื่องการร่วมเพศกับผู้อื่นที่ไม่ใช่คู่ของตนนั้น ยังคงมีลักษณะเป็นมาตรฐานเชิงซ้อน คือ ชายมีได้แต่หญิงมีไม่ได้ กลุ่มตัวอย่างดังกล่าวนี้ เริ่มสำเร็จความใคร่ด้วยตัวเองเมื่ออายุเฉลี่ย 15.6 ปี ร่วมเพศครั้งแรกเมื่ออายุเฉลี่ย 18.3 ปี โดยร่วมเพศกับหญิงบริการสูงที่สุด คือ 57.1% ซึ่งเกิดจากการชักชวนของเพื่อน ๆ รองลงมารร่วมเพศกับแฟนหรือคู่รัก 20.2 % เกิดจากความรัก ความใกล้ชิดกัน ภายหลังการไปเที่ยวสนุกสนานร่วมกัน มีหนึ่งรายที่เริ่มต้นจาการข่มขืนเด็กข้างบ้าน สตรีที่กลุ่มตัวอย่างเคยร่วมเพศด้วย นอกจากภรรยาหรือคู่รักแล้ว ยังมีหลากหลาย ทั้งคนที่รู้จักและไม่รู้จัก หญิงบริการทางเพศ ญาติ และสาวใช้เป็นต้น นอกจากนี้พบว่า 21.4% ของตัวอย่างเคยร่วมเพศกับชายมาแล้ว มีเพียง 6 ราย ที่ยังคงมีเพศสัมพันธ์กับชายด้วยกันในช่วง 12 เดือนที่ผ่านมา ส่วนในกลุ่มสนทนาหญิง เชื่อว่าสามีของตนต่างก็เคยมีความสัมพันธ์กับสตรีอื่นทั้งก่อนและหลังแต่งงาน ซึ่งมีสาเหตุจากสุรา ต้องการเปลี่ยนรสชาติ ต้องการความสนุกสนาน เป็นต้น นอกจากนั้นสตรีกลุ่มนี้ระบุว่าสามีมีความต้องการทางเพศมากกว่าตน เพราะบ่อยครั้งที่ตนต้องยอมร่วมเพศ แม้ไม่มีความต้องการ แต่เพื่อป้องกันปัญหาที่อาจเกิดขึ้นได้ในครอบครัว ปัจจัยที่พบว่าเกี่ยวข้องกับการมีเพศสัมพันธ์ก่อนและนอกสมรส ได้แก่ ปัจจัยทางด้านร่างกาย เช่น ความต้องการทางเพศ ด้านจิตใจ ที่ต้องการเปลี่ยนหญิงที่นอนด้วย ต้องการสิ่งแปลก ๆ ใหม่ ๆ เป็นต้น ปัจจัยด้านสังคมและวัฒนธรรม รวมถึงค่านิยมและความเชื่อต่าง ๆ ที่มีอยู่ เช่น การสนุนกสนานรื่นเริงในหมู่เพื่อนฝูง มักจะมีการรับประทานอาหารดื่มสุรา และจบด้วยการใช้บริการในสถานบริการทางเพศ นอกจากนั้นยังมีปัจจัยทางด้านครอบครัวและเศรษฐกิจที่มีส่วนให้ชายร่วมเพศก่อนและนอกสมรส การศึกษาจากการสนทนากลุ่มพบว่าชายที่แต่งงานแล้วเมื่อมีอายุมากขึ้นมีแนวโน้มที่จะลดและเลิการใช้บริการทางเพศ รวมทั้งมีการร่วมเพศกับหญิงอื่นที่ไม่ใช่ภรรยามากขึ้น |
| Other Abstract: | Male sexual relationship outside marriage was investigated using in-depth interview on 84 male patients who attended Sexually Transmitted Disease Clinic at Bangrak Hospital in Bangkok during April to July 1998. Including data from focus group discussion of 3 and 2 groups of men (n=19) and women (n=15) respectively were also carried out during September of the same year. The objectives of this investigation were to evaluate the attitude and behaviour of male on sexual issues ranging from the first sexual intercourse too marriage and up to present time. Average age of the 84 male subjects was 33.8 years old, majority of them were married and resided in Bangkok. Their education were primary and secondary levels. They believed that Thai girl should keep her virginity. However,39 percent of them thought that nowadays virginity is not necessary. The thinking of man on woman regarding sexuality has double standard, woman has sex only with her husband. They had their first masturbation and sexual intercourse at theaverage age of 15.6 and 18.3 years old respectively. First seven point one percent have their sexual intercourse with commercial sex workers, 20.2 percent with their girl friends 8.3% with friends 7.1% with acquinted persons and 4.8% with wives. There was one case of raping his neighbour girl. Women in this group mates, sex workers, relatives and maid. Twenty one point four percent of them previously experienced sexual relationship with other men, and there was only 6 cases that still continued to have their sexual relationship with the men during the last 12 months. While for women in focus group discussions, They believed that their husbands had sexual experiences prior to and post marriage. The reasons were due to alcohol drinking, attitude for changing parner and perhaps just for fun. In addition, they also believed that their husbands had more sexual desires than themselves. This is the reason why they had to accept her husband's demand for sexual intercourse eventhough they did not wnat, as to preventprevent family problem. In conclusion, our findings indicated that factors sexual realtionship prior to an doutside marriage were those of psychological factor ; adventure on new women, soico-cultural factor ; social norm, peer group, night life and social entertainment. The vicious cycle usually started with dinner, alcohol drinking and end up with sexuality. Older married generation tended to cease behaviour of messing around with other wome. |
