| dc.description.abstract | วิทยานิพนธ์ฉบับนี้มีจุดประสงค์เพื่อวิเคราะห์การประกอบสร้าง "ความเป็นลาว" ในวรรณกรรมและสื่อภาพยนตร์ไทยร่วมสมัยและวิเคราะห์บริบททางสังคมและวัฒนธรรมในการนำเสนอภาพแทน "ความเป็นลาว" ในวรรณกรรมและสื่อภาพยนตร์ไทยร่วมสมัยจำนวน 7 เรื่อง ได้แก่ วรรณกรรมเยาวชน 2 เรื่อง คือ ลูกแม่น้ำโขง (2544) และ เพื่อนรักริมโขง (2547) ของ "เข็มชาติ" นวนิยาย 2 เรื่อง คือ สาปภูษา (2550) และ รอยไหม (2550) ของ "พงศกร" กวีนิพนธ์ 1 เรื่อง คือ เขียนแผ่นดินสุวรรณภูมิลาว (2551) ของ เนาวรัตน์ พงษ์ไพบูลย์ และ ภาพยนตร์ 2 เรื่อง คือ สะบายดีหลวงพระบาง (2551) และ ไม่มีคำตอบจากปากเซ (2553) จากการศึกษาพบว่าความหมายของ "ความเป็นลาว" ที่ถูกสร้างขึ้นในวรรณกรรมและสื่อภาพยนตร์ไทยร่วมสมัยมีลักษณะทั้งผสมผสานและย้อนแย้งในตัวเอง คือ ในยุคล่าอาณานิคม "ความเป็นลาว" ที่หมายถึงการโหยหาอดีตของวิถีชีวิตและวัฒนธรรมอันรุ่งเรือง ในยุคหลังสงครามเย็น"ความเป็นลาว" ถูกนำเสนอถึงมิตรภาพอันปราศจากอคติร่วมกับประเทศเพื่อนบ้านอื่นแถบภูมิภาคเอเชียอาคเนย์ และในยุคโลกาภิวัตน์ "ความเป็นลาว" หมายถึงดินแดนแห่งความสุข สำหรับการค้นหาความหมายของชีวิต เพราะเป็นประเทศที่มีวัฒนธรรมอันเก่าแก่และทรงคุณค่า ยังคงความอุดมสมบูรณ์ของธรรมชาติและสิ่งแวดล้อม วรรณกรรมและสื่อภาพยนตร์ไทยร่วมสมัยทั้ง 7 เรื่องแสดงให้เห็นถึงภาพแทน "ความเป็นลาว" ซึ่งเป็นผลของการประกอบสร้างทางประวัติศาสตร์ (Historical Construct) ที่เลื่อนไหลไปตามบริบททางสังคมและการเมืองระหว่างไทยกับลาวที่ส่งผลต่อการมองคนลาวในสายตาของคนไทย | en_US |
| dc.description.abstractalternative | The objectives of this thesis are to analyze the construction of "Laoness" and the social and cultural contexts involved in representations of "Laoness" in 7 contemporary Thai literary works and films, namely Luk Mae Khong (Mae Khong Boys), Phuan Rak Rim Khong (Friendship across Mae Khong), Sap Phusa (Ghost’s Cloth), Roi Mai (The Silk Trace), Khian Phaen Din Suvannabhumi Lao (Noted on Lao Suvannabhumi Land), Sabai Di Luang Phra Bang and Mai Mi Kham Top Chak Pak Say The study results show that meanings of "Laoness" constructed in contemporary Thai works and films are various and paradoxical. During the colonial period, the meaning of "Laoness" was nostalgia of ways of life and culture of the glorious past. After the Cold War period, "Laoness" was represented as nonpartisan friendship toward neighboring countries. Lastly, in the globalized era, "Laoness" means a land of happiness due to its ancient and valuable cultural heritage and still abundant natural and environmental resources. The selected literary works and films provide representations of "Laoness" which are historical constructs whose meanings vary according to Thai-Lao political and social contexts that take part in determining Thai people’s perceptions of Lao people. | en_US |
