dc.description.abstractวิทยานิพนธ์เล่มนี้ มีจุดมุ่งหมายเพื่อรวบรวมและศึกษาเปรียบเทียบบททำขวัญ. และบทบาทและการดำรงอยู่ของพิธีทำขวัญของกลุ่มคนไทย ไทยพวน และไทยเขมร ที่อำเภอพนมสารคาม และอำเภอราชสาส์น จังหวัดฉะเชิงเทรา โดยรวบรวมและศึกษาข้อมูลที่ตำบลเมืองเก่า ตำบลหนองยาว และตำบลดงน้อย และบริเวณพื้นที่ใกล้เคียง จากการรวบรวม ผู้วิจัยพบว่าประเพณีการทำขวัญที่เคยปฏิบัติมาในอดีตของกลุ่มคนไทย ไทยพวน และไทยเขมร แบ่งได้เป็น ๓ ประเภท ได้แก่ พิธีทำขวัญที่เกี่ยวกับชีวิต พิธีทำขวัญที่เกี่ยวกับการเกษตรกรรม และพิธีทำขวัญที่เกี่ยวกับเรือน ทุกพิธีจะมีบททำขวัญประกอบ จากการศึกษาเปรียบเทียบบททำขวัญทั้งสำนวนมุขปาฐะและลายลักษณ์ของคนไทย ๒๕ สำนวน คนไทยพวน ๓๑ สำนวน และคนไทยเขมร ๒๙ สำนวน พบว่าทั้ง ๓ กลุ่มชน ใช้บททำขวัญภาษาไทยเป็นส่วนใหญ่ ยกเว้นกลุ่มคนไทยพวนที่ใช้ทั้งภาษาไทยและภาษาพวน และยังพบว่าบททำขวัญที่เกี่ยวกับชีวิตมีโครงสร้างหลักร่วมกัน ๓ ส่วน แบ่งเป็น บทนำ ได้แก่ บทบูชาพระรัตนตรัยและบทชุมนุมเทวดา บทดำเนินเรื่อง ได้แก่ บทสอนและบทเรียกขวัญ และบทจบนิยมใช้บทให้พร ผู้วิจัยพบว่า พิธีทำขวัญที่ยังคงปฏิบัติในปัจจุบันอยู่ทั้ง ๓ กลุ่มชน มี ๒ ประเภท คือ พิธีทำขวัญที่เกี่ยวกับชีวิต ได้แก่ พิธีทำขวัญนาค พิธีทำขวัญทิดสึกใหม่ และพิธีทำขวัญบ่าวสาว และพิธีทำขวัญที่เกี่ยวกับการเกษตรกรรม ได้แก่ พิธีทำขวัญข้าว แต่ละกลุ่มชนต่างมีประเพณีการทำขวัญที่แสดงให้เห็นบทบาทในการสร้างความสามัคคีในชุมชน และรักษาวัฒนธรรมของกลุ่มตน ขณะเดียวกันก็พบว่าหมอขวัญไทยพวนและไทยเขมรก็รับบททำขวัญและพิธีทำขวัญบางส่วนจากหมอขวัญไทยมาปรับใช้ ประเพณีการทำขวัญจึงมีบทบาทสำคัญในการเชื่อมความสัมพันธ์ของชนทั้ง ๓ กลุ่ม ให้มีความกลมกลืนกัน นอกจากนี้ยังมีบทบาทให้กำลังใจและความอบอุ่นใจ สั่งสอนศีลธรรมและจริยธรรม ควบคุมสังคม และให้ความเพลิดเพลินอีกด้วย ปัจจัยที่ส่งผลต่อการดำรงอยู่ของประเพณีการทำขวัญมี ๖ ประการ ได้แก่ ความเชื่อเรื่องขวัญ ค่านิยม เรื่องระบบอาวุโสและความกตัญญู จำนวนหมอขวัญ ภาษาในบททำขวัญ พิธีกรรมที่เอื้อต่อการทำขวัญ สภาพ ชุมชนและขนาดชุมชน-
dc.description.abstractalternativeThis thesis aims at collecting and comparing the Tham Khwan texts and analyzing the role and the persistence of the Tham Khwan rituals of the Thai, Phuan and Khmer ethnic groups at Phanomsarakham District and Rajasarn District in Chachoengsao Province. The research finding suggests that the Tham Khwan rituals in the past of the Thai, Phuan and Khmer could be categorized into 3 types: the rites of passage, agricultural rites and rites concerning household spirits. In the past, the Tham Khwan texts always accompanied the Tham Khwan rituals. The researcher collected both the oral and written versions of the Tham Khwan texts: 24 versions from the Thai, 31 versions from the Phuan, and 29 versions from the Khmer. It is found that all the 3 ethnic groups use Thai language in the Tham Khwan texts but the Phuan also use Phuan language. It is also found that all the Tham Khwan texts for the rites of passage tend to have the same structure, starting with the Homage of the Three Gems, the Invitation of the Deities, then, the Calling of the souls and ending with the Blessing. Nowadays, the rituals that still function in the village context are only the rites of passage and the agriculture rites. Three kind of the rites of passage are found: Tham Khwan Nak (the step before ordaining as monk), Tham Khwan Tid Suk Mai (the step right after derobing) and Tham Khwan Bao Sao (for the marrying couple). As for the agricultural rite, what is left today is the Tham Khwan Khao (Calling the soul of the Rice Goddess). Each group uses the Tham Khwan ritual to harmonize its members in the village and also to conserve its ethnic culture. At the same time, the Khmer and Phuan Moh Khwan (the ritual specialist) would borrow and adapt the Tham Khwan texts from Thai Moh Khwan. This then reflects the relationship between different ethnic groups. The Tham Khwan rituals also have the roles in giving moral support, teaching morals and ethics, acting as social control and also entertaining. There are 6 factors determining the persistence of the Tham Khwan rituals, i.e., the beliefs in Khwan, the values of gratitude and respecting seniority, the number of Moh Khwan in the villages, the language used in the Tham Khwan texts, certain traditions rendering the Tham Khwan rituals, the size and the characteristics of the villages.-
