dc.description.abstract	วิทยานิพนธ์เรื่องนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ เพื่อศึกษาถึงประเภทและความแตกต่างของผู้ประกาศข่าวโทรทัศน์และเพื่อศึกษาถึงกระบวนการคัดเลือกผู้ประกาศข่าวของสถานีโทรทัศน์ทั้ง 6 แห่งในกรุงเทพมหานคร รวมทั้งวิเคราะห์ปัจจัยที่เกี่ยวข้องในการกำหนดหลักเกณฑ์การคัดเลือกผู้ประกาศข่าวของแต่ละสถานีโทรทัศน์ ตั้งแต่ปี พ.ศ. 2535-2542 โดยใช้กรอบแนวคิด เช่น ทฤษฎีสื่อสารมวลชนแนวเศรษฐศาสตร์การเมือง ทฤษฎีองค์กรสื่อสารมวลชน แนวคิดเกี่ยวกับผู้ประกาศข่าวและคุณสมบัติผู้ประกาศข่าวมาประกอบการพิจารณา ผลการศึกษาพบว่า ประเภทของผู้ประกาศข่าวโทรทัศน์ สามารถแบ่งออกเป็น 3 ประเภท ได้แก่ 1. ผู้ประกาศข่าวหลัก 2. ผู้ประกาศข่าวร่วมหรือผู้นำเสนอข่าว 3. ผู้รายงานข่าว โดยพบว่า สัดส่วนของผู้ประกาศข่าวประเภทผู้ประกาศข่าวหลัก มีจำนวนน้อยที่สุด ขณะที่มีจำนวนผู้ประกาศข่าวร่วมหรือผู้เสนอข่าวเป็นจำนวนมากที่สุด และสัดส่วนของผู้รายงานข่าวรองลงมา ในส่วนของกระบวนการคัดเลือกผู้ประกาศข่าวของแต่ละสถานีโทรทัศน์นั้น พบว่ามีกระบวนการคัดเลือกทั้งสิ้น 4 กระบวนการ คือ 1. กระบวนการคัดเลือกโดยการประกาศรับสมัครคัดเลือกอย่างเป็นทางการ 2. กระบวนการคัดเลือกโดยการไต่เต้า 3. กระบวนการคัดเลือกโดยการดึงบุคคลภายนอกที่มีความสามารถโดดเด่นเป็นพิเศษ 4. กระบวนการคัดเลือกโดยระบบอุปถัมภ์ โดยที่แต่ละสถานีโทรทัศน์จะมีกระบวนการคัดเลือกที่แตกต่างกันตามปัจจัยต่างๆ ดังต่อไปนี้ คือ ปัจจัยภายในได้แก่ นโยบาย และเจ้าของหรือผู้บริหารสถานี ซึ่งเป็นปัจจัยสำคัญที่มีอิทธิพลต่อกระบวนการคัดเลือก รองลงมาคือ เทคโนโลยี ส่วนปัจจัยภายนอกได้แก่ ระบบการเมือง ระบบกฎหมาย ระบบการตลาด ความคาดหวังของผู้ชมในทัศนะของผู้บริหาร การวิพากษ์วิจารณ์ของสื่อมวลชน อื่นๆ และความเป็นวิชาชีพเป็นปัจจัยทางอ้อมที่ส่งผลต่อเจ้าของ หรือผู้บริหารสถานีที่จะกำหนดเป็นนโยบาย และหลักเกณฑ์ในการคัดเลือกผู้ประกาศข่าวของแต่ละสถานีโทรทัศน์ โดยเฉพาะบรรดาเจ้าของหรือผู้บริหารสถานีถือเป็นปัจจัยหลักในการมีอำนาจตัดสินใจในการกำหนดหลักเกณฑ์ กระบวนการคัดเลือก ผู้ประกาศข่าว รวมไปถึงเป็นผู้กำหนดบทบาทหน้าที่และคุณสมบัติของผู้ประกาศข่าวด้วย นอกจากนี้ยังพบว่าโครงสร้างของสถานีโทรทัศน์ที่แตกต่างกันของสถานีโทรทัศน์แต่ละแห่งล้วนส่งผลต่อกระบวนการและหลักเกณฑ์ในการคัดเลือกผู้ประกาศข่าว โดยสถานีโทรทัศน์ที่เน้นนโยบายการเสนอความบันเทิงเป็นหลัก จะให้ความสำคัญกับคุณสมบัติภายนอกของบุคคลที่จะมาเป็นผู้ประกาศข่าว ส่วนสถานีโทรทัศน์ที่เน้นการนำเสนอข่าวสารความรู้ จะให้ความสำคัญกับคุณสมบัติในด้านความเป็นผู้รู้เรื่องข่าวและมีคุณสมบัติเป็นผู้สื่อข่าวมาก่อนเป็นหลัก อันสอดคล้องกับการที่สถานีโทรทัศน์แทบทุกแห่งมีสัดส่วนผู้ประกาศข่าวประเภทผู้นำเสนอข่าวเป็นจำนวนมากที่สุด	en
dc.description.abstractalternative	The purposes of the research are to identify news announcers' categories and differences, as well as the means of selecting those who work in television stations in Bangkok. It is also to analyze any accounts used for forming the rules for news announcers selection within each station from 1992 to 1999. In order to conduct this research, several theories including the mass communication political economy theory, the mass communication organization theory, concept of news announcers and the qualification of news announcers are conceptualized and employed as study framework. The finding shows that news announcers can be categorized into 3 types; 1) Anchor 2) Co-anchor or news presenter and 3) News Reporter. It also shows that "anchor" is the type that exists the least whereas co-anchor or news presenter occurs in the most numbers followed by news reporter. The research result indicates that there are 4 different ways in selecting news announcers in TV stations. 1. Job advertising 2. Being promoted 3. Recruiting professionals from outside the organization 4. Patronage. Furthermore, news announcers selection is depended upon 2 different major factors; internal and external factors. Internal factors, including TV station's and its owner's policies are the most influential factors' followed by technology. TV station's owner is found to be the main factor in determining the means for selecting news announcers interns of their roles and qualifications. External factors, including politics, law and regulation, markets, audience's expectation, media criticism and professionalism are indirect factors brought into company's policies of selecting news announcers. It is also found that TV stations' different structures are essential to news announcers selection process. Entertainment oriented stations will select good looking announcers. However, news stations will pay more attention to their professionalism in being news-oriented. And those are reasons why most TV station are interested in having co-anchors rather than news presenters and the other types.	en
