dc.description.abstract	การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์สำคัญ 3 ประการ คือ ประการแรก เพื่อศึกษาภาพรวมในเชิงประวัติศาสตร์ของวิทยาการด้านวาทวิทยาตั้งแต่อดีตถึงปัจจุบัน ประการที่สอง เพื่อศึกษาแนวโน้มของสังคมไทยทศวรรษหน้าที่ได้รับอิทธิพลมาจากการเปลี่ยนแปลงทางเทคโนโลยีและการสื่อสาร ได้แก่ แนวโน้มด้านการเมือง เศรษฐกิจ การศึกษา สังคม และวัฒนธรรม และประการที่สาม เพื่อกำหนดกรอบความคิดเรื่อง “แนวโน้ม” หรือ “ทิศทาง” ที่เหมาะสมสำหรับนำไปพัฒนากระบวนการจัดการเรียนการสอนทางวาทวิยาให้สอดคล้องกับสภาพสังคมไทยในทศวรรษหน้า โดยพิจารณาจากแนวโน้มการเปลี่ยนแปลงในทศวรรษหน้ารวม 5 ด้าน คือ (ก) เทคโนโลยีและการสื่อสาร (ข) คำนิยามของวาทวิทยา (ค) ตลาดแรงงาน (ง) ความหลากหลายทางวัฒนธรรม และ (จ) ความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างอำนาจทางสังคมกับการจัดระเบียบทางสังคมและการสื่อสาร การวิจัยครั้งนี้ ดำเนินการโดยใช้หลักการของการวิเคราะห์เนื้อหา และ เทคนิคเดลฟายประยุกต์ เครื่องมือในการวิจัย คือ แบบสัมภาษณ์ แบบสอบถาม และแบบบันทึกข้อมูล ข้อมูลของการวิจัยประกอบด้วย ข้อมูลจากเอกสารและข้อมูลจากความคิดเห็นของกลุ่มบุคคลที่ได้มาโดยกระบวนการของเทคนิคเดลฟายประยุกต์ สุดท้าย ผู้วิจัยได้นำเสนอข้อค้นพบทั้งหมด และได้อภิปรายถึงข้อค้นพบเหล่านั้น พร้อมทั้งได้สร้าง “แบบจำลองเชิงมโนทัศน์” ขึ้นใหม่ ซึ่งมีคำอธิบายและข้อเสนอแนะประกอบที่ชัดเจน โดยตั้งอยู่บนพื้นฐานของข้อค้นพบจากการวิจัยในครั้งนี้ เพื่อเป็นกรอบความคิดด้านแนวโน้มหรือทิศทางที่เหมาะสมสำหรับการพัฒนาการเรียนการสอนด้านนิเทศศาสตร์ สาขาวาทวิทยาระดับอุดมศึกษาในประเทศไทยในทศวรรษหน้าให้มีประสิทธิภาพต่อไป	en
dc.description.abstractalternative	The main purposes of this research were threefold: First, to investigate the historical backgrounds of Speech Communication from the past to present: Second, to foresee the trends in Thai society in the next decade, based on the influence of new technology and communication. These include trends in politics, economics, education, social life, and culture. Third, to look for appropriate “trends” or “directions” in the development of teaching and learning Speech Communication in congruence with Thai society in the next decade, by considering trends in five areas of changes : (a) Technology and Communication, (b) the Definition of Speech Communication, (c) Employment Opportunities, (d) Cultural Diversity and (e) Relationships among Social Power, Social Order, and Communication. This research was conducted by using “Principles of Content Analysis” and “Applied Delphi Technique.” The research instruments were interviewing forms, questionnaires, and recording forms. The data were obtained from historical documents and “viewpoints” of qualified respondents based on the conditions of Applied Delphi Technique. Finally, the overall findings are presented and discussed. Based on the research outcomes, conceptual model for the development of teaching and learning Speech Communication at the higher education level in Thailand in the next decade is also formulated and explained in this study.	en
