dc.description.abstract	พระราชหัตถเลขาในรูปแบบต่าง ๆ ของรัชกาลที่ 4 เป็นผลงานที่มีค่าแก่ผู้อ่านหลายอย่าง ที่เห็นได้เด่นชัดที่สุดคือความรู้เรื่องโบราณที่ไม่มีผู้เขียนบันทึกไว้ เป็นแต่อ้างถึง แต่หาคำอธิบายที่เป็นหลักฐานแน่นอนไม่ได้ เช่น คำอธิบายเกี่ยวกับการเรียกเนื้อเงินและเนื้อทอง เป็นต้น นอกจากนี้ยังมีความรู้ในด้านต่างๆ อีกมากการนำเรื่องนี้มาเขียนจึงเท่ากับเป็นการแนะนำให้ผู้อ่านได้สัมผัสกับหนังสือดีมีประโยชน์ที่เรามักจะมองข้ามกันไป	en
