dc.description.abstract	ขบวนการโรแมนติกเป็นความเคลื่อนไหวทางวงการศิลปะที่เกิดขึ้นในช่วงปลายศตวรรษที่ 18 จนถึงศตวรรษที่ 19 แนวคิดสำคัญของความเคลื่อนไหวนี้คือ การให้ความสำคัญแก่จินตนาการ อารมณ์ ความรู้สึกของตนมากกว่าเหตุผล และการหลุดออกจากรูปแบบที่เคร่งครัด อย่างไรก็ตาม แม้เป็นงานศิลปะในแขนงเดียวกัน ได้ชื่อว่าอยู่ในขบวนการเดียวกันและอยู่ในทวีปเดียวกัน อย่างเช่นวรรณกรรมโรแมนติกของอังกฤษและอิตาเลียน ก็ยังมีความแตกต่างกัน เวิดส์เวิธ กวีชาวอังกฤษได้แถลงลักษณะภาษาแบบโรแมนติกของตนไว้ว่าจะต้อง “low and rustic” หรือต้องเข้าถึงประชาชนให้ได้มากที่สุด แต่เมื่อพิจารณากวีนิพนธ์ชิ้นเอกของอิตาลีในยุคเดียวกันจะเห็นได้ว่ากวีนิพนธ์บทดังกล่าวมิได้ใช้ภาษาเช่นนั้นโดยตลอด แต่ใช้ศัพท์โบราณอีกด้วย ทั้งนี้เพราะกวีอังกฤษประสงค์จะต่อต้านกระแสเดิมในขณะที่กวีอิตาเลียนต้องการให้คนในสังคมของตนเข้าใจงานของตนได้ดีที่สุดและเกิดสำนึกร่วมในความเป็นชาติอันเป็นความเคลื่อนไหวทางสังคมอิตาลีในขณะนั้น	en
dc.description.abstractalternative	The Romantic movement from the end of 18th century to the first part of the 19th century gives emphasis to imagination, free expression of individual feelings and liberation from the constraints of tradition. However literary works in the western world within this movement such as those of the English and the Italian writers still have some differences. William Wordsworth, an English romantic poet, reacted to the age of reason and made it clear that the language of poetry must be the language of the common people. Still major Italian writers of the same period, in their attempt to unite the people and create the sense of national identity, used different kinds of language such as archaism to reach the public.	en
